Heaven

4 of us, 2 rooms. Oceanfront and heated pool. We’ve loved and enjoyed everyday. Con is that you’re far from town and food options, so either rent a car or depend on cabs to get around.
We’ve made breakfast in our suite everyday, snacked at lunch and headed out for dinner. Worked out perfectly for us but has required a little advance planning. After seeing how busy some hotels and beaches are in town , I much prefer the privacy here.

Our experience was not the best! First getting to access the property from the app was not easy. The link didn’t work. It took us about an hour to finally get it to work. The condo was nice but needs repairs, the beds and pillow were not comfortable, there were holes on walls and the main bed room AC started to leak with water. The staff were very nice and polite, unfortunately I cannot say that about the condo owners, some were rude. As far as the view of the ocean was great, easy access to the beach. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.

No Music ever allowed, NO SMOKING, no drinks in pool, not enough chairs, no loud children or adults.

This is a Condo not Hotel/Motel with a few rentals and more owners. Lots of Rules, No Fun. Can't invite friends, No Music, No Drinks in Pool, No Gym. Often times no chairs available around the pool and no saving of chairs. Kitchen poorly furnished and furniture worn. Not a place to PARTY for the week end.

Residential condo with some rentals

Short term renters aren’t very welcome here. Lots of restrictions on pets, quiet hours, no music or coolers allowed poolside. Definite shortage of lounge chair on the pool deck. No lifeguard on duty; beach has frequent undertow and rip tides, with occasional drownings. Bar and restaurant require setting up a prepaid account. Restaurant is not open for dinner. Bus to Central District takes 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Worst experience.

This place has to be the worst possible place to travel too. The staff are horrible at their jobs and the residents are unbearable. Kids cant play, adults under 50 are not welcome, and awful rumours are spread. The service in the kitchen is slow, the food makes you sick, everything is closed way to early. If you are looking to travel to mazatlan, do not travel to Quintas Del Marr II. Unless your over 50 without children, you will not enjoy your stay. It is quite unfortunate considering the place is beautiful. Will never come back.
