Very nice hotel ideally located near the ruins

Like its sister property Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows in Chichen Itza, some parts of the hotel could be a little better maintained — but it’s less glaring and awkward here than in Chichen.
The rooms are very beautiful, distributed in lodges around two pools. Prefer those located near the second pool, quieter, the first being right next to the restaurant.
The entrance to the ruins is literally a stone’s throw away, a real plus. Free parking on site.
Only one restaurant in the hotel, quite decent, and nothing else in the immediate vicinity. A very good option to visit the site in peace.

Beautiful property with a kind and friendly staff. I stayed at the Lodge several times over the last ten years and my experience has always been very good. For those of you who love nature and appreciate tranquility there is no substitute, start your day with their delicious breakfast and simply walk to the breathtaking ruins of Uxmal for an intimate encounter with the mysterious world of the Maya :))

A great hotel in the best location for visiting the archaeological site

The reason we chose this hotel was because it’s right by the entrance to the archaeological site, which we visited from it with Jorge Mex, an excellent English-speaking guide arranged by the hotel. We visited the site shortly after 8am (when it opens) and were able to get round without crowds. We were fortunate to visit on a cloudy day, so even when we left later in the morning, it was not too hot.
The hotel was very nice and most of the staff spoke at least some English. Breakfast was satisfactory, including freshly cooked eggs. There is nowhere else to eat within walking distance, so we ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay. There was a problem with our first dinner, for which we had pre-ordered fish that they failed to keep for us. As we do not eat meat, we had to have a (very ordinary) vegetarian pasta. The restaurant manager did apologise and gave us free glasses of wine. He also assured us that we would get the fish next evening, which we did - and it was delicious!

Nice and clean hotel, warm service, great food in a nice restaurant with a moderate breakfast.

The hotel is located next to the Maya history of Uxmal. A hotel that looks great when you drive up and that it is. Welcoming reception. Beautiful spacious and clean rooms with a view of the courtyard garden with swimming pool. The cots need replacing, by the way.
It was quiet when we came and had a drink in the beautiful open restaurant and also in the evening we ate fine with great service. The breakfast was really disappointing and that is probably caused because large groups stay, have breakfast and leave again. If the breakfast was normally good we would have liked to have given it 5 stars
