Outstanding and beautifully furnished rooms in an unusual location!
We stayed once in the Trafohaus (the smallest hotel in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records) and once in the water tower on level 5. Both rooms are very high quality and beautifully furnished.
The transformer house has a mini design on three levels to create a complete apartment with everything you need. And not only with a modern and cleverly designed look with very high-quality materials, but above all with numerous lovingly decorated gadgets. From old Winnetou toys and an old school cassette player to the Winnetou intro when you walk through the front door. The roof is almost entirely made of glass, so if you're lucky you can see the starry sky when you're lying in bed. A great and very unusual tiny house and definitely worth a visit!
Level 5 of the water tower is also a special kind of hotel room because the room is round. Here too, in terms of the design and the quality of the materials used, you can see that clever minds with expertise and love for interior design are at work were. The highlight is a gas-powered fireplace that is very easy to use. The view from the numerous windows (almost all around) is very wide - beautiful. We also had a great time here and felt very comfortable.
What is also worth mentioning and, from our point of view, a sign of the quality of the hotel: we had an unfortunate situation when we first arrived because a cleaning team had apparently missed their assignment. We reported that back. The management of the hotel immediately responded in a very responsible and extremely customer-oriented manner, which made us very happy. Responsibility is not always taken on so professionally and comprehensive compensation is provided. This is absolutely worth highlighting. Because a small mistake can happen - what matters is how you deal with it. This hotel receives 5 stars from us! Overall, the care provided by the ladies (Ms. Richter and Ms. Krümmel) is really very friendly and caring.
We'd love to come back as soon as we're nearby.
