Super winter card
We were here for a private Christmas party with 8 people. Very delicious food at the most beautiful table of the restaurant. Attentive service. The cinnamon parfait is delicious!

Christmas dinner absolutely disappointing
Rating of restaurant only:
We were there today for Christmas dinner with 11 people.
The huge hall was extremely tightly seated and crowded. The kitchen and staff were totally overloaded. After 2.5 hours of waiting, the starter arrived. Various tables have already been left without having eaten. At 4:30 p.m. we were finally done with the food after inquiring at least five times about how long it will take. Overall an absolute disappointment not only for us, but also for various other guests! Absolutely not recommended. I guess it's just the money that counts here! Apologies due to short-term staff outages also make the experience no less disappointing for guests.

Needs a renovation
We booked this hotel thinking the restaurant was rated by Michelin. I seem to recall seeing the red Michelin sign, but now can't find the restaurant on the Michelin website. NOT that it had a star but good cooking. The hotel IS close to the Frankfurt airport and offers free parking. The staff is very nice. We spent two nights there and I would not go back. The bathroom mirror was broken. Mold or discoloration in the shower. The drapes in the hallway were ripped. The lights on our hallway were not working. No one is at the front desk overnight. We were awakened each night about 2 am by drunks on the street. The windows when closed DO keep out the sound of the trolly and people at the stop in front of the hotel. The restaurant was OK but not better than that. So perhaps for the price it is a good deal. I would look elsewhere next time. I DO think Darmstadt offers a LOT as a tourist destination. Oh, the breakfast was good and the croissants EXCELLENT. Also the salads at dinner. The restaurant seemed to be popular with locals and was not overpriced.

Better then the big hotels in the city
Im currently staying in this hotel for ten days , and prior to this i stayed in maritim hotel, and i found this much better then tge big maritim hotel, its abt 8 stops away from louisenplatz where you have all the shops and tge market and abt 8 stops from the darmstadt bahanof ( main train station) the tramp is just like at the hotel enterence which is veryy convinient and is very well connected actoss the city, the area is very safe its basically in a plush neighbourhood , you have a supermarket DM abt 800 meters and a pharmacy aswhell with it . You have a sushi restaurant right across tge hotel , the trams run all day and night just the frequency decreaes as it gets later, just few stops from here you have great pubs and bars.
Now tge hotel , it was soo good and considerate that they provided us with a water bottle which i didnt get in te big hotel maritim to begin your first day later you can pick tge same 800 meters from here for just .80euros.
The rooms are very very nice neat and clean infact the whole hotel is very clean , it has all tge basic emenities like tv hair dryer cupboard room heaters even in bathroom.the rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels are replaced everyday which is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They have a very vintage and beautiful retsaurand and bar at the ground floor with great food which even has few vegetarian options, the breakfast is great it fills you up properly to start your day.
If you dont want to stay at the city center and want ti stay at a calm safe neighbourhood with great connectivity at your doorstep this is the place i highly recomment
PS: they dont have lift , so you will have to bring your bags up till second floor or first floor , also they dont have refigerator in their rooms and no mini bar the restaurant is on the ground floor u can get what u want from there
And rooms are not big they are small cute and cozy perfect for two people , i have come with 4 big bags yet have good space

Friendly establishment, excellent tram links and great food!
I am a regular at this quaint B&B hotel/restaurant establishment, staying for 3-4 nights each time. This hotel is not on Booking.com. In fact, I stumbled across this place while traveling on the tram to a hotel much further out of town. It looked so very pretty in the evening with the fairy lights around the windows glistening. Like a magpie, I was drawn to find out what rooms they had available and to my surprise, the hotel was solid booked full for about a month. I finally found dates that worked with my schedule and booked it. And I have to say, very pleasantly surprised. I travel to Darmstadt regularly for work so I need a place that is comfortable, not too far from the office with a good selection of eateries nearby. The staff here are excellent. Very friendly and are helpful with every request. There is a restaurant on site, closed on Mondays, serving a variety of local traditional food. The chef here is very talented. I eat here at least once during any stay. For a change, literally across the road, is a superb Asian restaurant serving Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese specialities and Sushi. Very welcoming, very cheap and huge portions
too! For transport, the tram stop is right outside the door and only 10 mins into Luisenplatz. The rooms themselves are basic but homely and clean. Highly recommended
