Solid hotel within easy reach of downtown

Somewhat off the beaten track but very easily accessible hotel, very clean and large rooms (multi-room rooms), which unfortunately cannot be blacked out.
Breakfast is neat but not particularly sumptuous. Egg dishes are freshly prepared.

Comfortable and Welcoming

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay in this spotlessly clean and well maintained hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Erfurt in a quiet residential area quite near the marvellous Zitadel and the Dome. Bedrooms are light , spacious and very well furnished. The bathrooms have excellent showers and heated shower rails.
Breakfasts are generous and offer a good range of fresh fruit, breads, hams and cheeses. Boiled eggs and delicious scrambled eggs are also available.

For short trip ok

Nice hotel but with limited parking. Hotel room was big and ok. Test crucible with cream on the bed I also found nice. Staff at reception very friendly. Wi-Fi very poor and slow. Room was quite cool. Breakfast buffet was manageable but ok. Location not far from the center but also not immediately adjacent.

Rooms not appropriate

Room was wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately we were not asked if we wanted this room. Was also worse equipped than the other rooms, which seem very neat and modern. Our carpeting has already had the best times. Too bad!

A hotel for the colder time of the year

All the criteria already mentioned positively, such as modernity of decor and friendliness of the staff are correct. Nevertheless, I spent a miserable weekend here: At 30 degrees outside temperature you have the choice not to get to sleep until 3.00 in the morning if you take a room to the yard and due to lack of AC, fan or 2. Window for ventilation at 28 degrees does not come to sleep.
Or you are woken up in a room facing the street at 5.00 am by the tram.
In winter, these problems (known and repeatedly criticized for years) with the house climate certainly do not exist.
€18.50 for the breakfast offered are greatly overstated.
