Another great stay
Hadn't been for a while so didn't really know what to expect but I was pleased to find that nothing has changed !
A proper traditional Bavarian building with lots of wood in the rooms and restaurant, such a friendly place to be. An outside cafe / seating area has been added since my last visit which was nice during the recent warm weather.
Rooms are very comfortable and quite large, plenty of space and well appointed, good quality bathrooms.
Didn't have an evening meal but breakfast offers a very good continental selection with proper tea or nice coffee.
I will be very happy to stay here again and would prefer the Kolb over the more modern style hotels available everywhere else.

Nice small hotel close to autobahn
We stayed here one night, travelling to Austria for skiing. The hotel is situated 4-6 km from the motorway, just opposite the railway station. It was a nice hotel with a room and bathroom as expected. Good dinner and breakfast. Good service. We can recommend this for a stay-over.

Excellent!.
I have had been on several oportunities and always enjoy of their hospitality.
Good restaurant and best family.
My wife also liked a lot.
Near to Munich, this year we went to the Octoberfest, Ulm and Stuttgart, all them very interesting

Very friendly, excellent quality
I have stayed at least 4 times over the years and the place seems to get better every time I visit.
Very traditional looking from the outside and in the restaurant, everywhere is spotlessly clean.
The rooms are large and many have a small sitting area so you can work or relax. The bathrooms have good quality fittings and are very well appointed. Both bed and bathroom are warm and very comfortable.
The ground floor restaurant serves traditional Bavarian food. It is freshly cooked and served quickly so it arrives good and hot. I was not even sure what everything was that I ate but I enjoyed it all and so did most of my party. We also enjoyed the draught beer - Gold Oschen ? - which is much smoother than the lagers available in the UK.
The lady who I believe owns the hotel is friendly and does her best with us foreigners when we struggle to make ourselves understood.
There is limited on site free parking and its a short walk into the center of town to a decent selection of shops, bars, restaurants with many interesting attractions for the visitor to explore.
Illertissen can also provide a lively night out if required and the hotel bar has a good range for that last one before bed !

Langzeitübernachtung
Wenn man nur für eine Nacht übernachten will, ist es vielleicht ok. Aber Langzeitübernachtung ist anstrengend, da kein funktionierender Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Auch auf Nachfrage keine Abhilfe. Wenn man sich selber verköstigen muß und 4 Wochen und länger in dem Hotel lebt (arbeite bei einer Leasingfirma) war ich sehr erstaunt, daß es nicht mal einen funktionierenden Kühlschrank gibt. Sowas hab ich in den letzten 4 Jahren Leasingarbeit nicht erleben müssen. Zimmerausstattung eher altertümlich. Aber sauber und die Dame der Hausreinigung ein absoluter Glücksgriff. Nähe zum Bahnhof praktisch, im Sommer ein Schlafen bei offenem Fenster kaum möglich. Zimmer unheimlich hellhörig, man kann dem Zimmernachbarn beim Telefonieren zuhören.
