Good value for money!
Hotel in traditional old building.
Nice welcome- our room was very nice. The bathroom newly renovated with large window.
Everything very clean.
Other rooms had an old, small indoor bathroom- I once looked in.
Very suitable for assembly personnel.
Small buffet with fresh coffee in a pot.
Value for money very good
One drawback: in the adjoining rooms was cleaned at 8 am (!)., and not very quietly. Doors were closed loudly. Sleep by!

Highly recommended!
Very nice and well maintained room, spent with girlfriend over a long weekend. Each a single room side by side. Super nice and friendly team/family!
Breakfast plentiful and good. In the evening we were able to eat very delicious and cheap in the restaurant downstairs.
Walking distance a lot to see and also by car a lot to reach quickly and easily. Into the Rhine/Ahrtal , as well as e.g. B the Siebengebirge. We would definitely recommend it!

Good budget hotel for a short stay.
This was our first stop as part of a road trip around Germany from the UK - my wife has family links to the area so we wanted to briefly explore.
The hotel was basic but very nice. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were well soundproofed - which is fortunate as there is a church next door whose bell has a loud ring and a road outside - which is not actually that busy if you are used to city living. We reserved 3 rooms, for us and our children (one in her 20’s, the other a teenager) and they were all together at the end of a corridor so it felt like we had a little apartment.
Breakfast was continental and had an adequate selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a short walk or drive from the ferry that crosses the Rhine to Linz am Rhein where there are nice restaurants.
Parking is through a vehicle entrance to the side of the hotel entrance - very secure and if you come by motorbike or bicycle it appears you can use the hotel garage to store your vehicle.
The cost of the hotel, especially as we had three rooms was very reasonable.
The only small downside is that the place looks like it could do with some fresh/brighter paint (very brown/beige throughout) and I had a bedside lamp which wasn’t plugged in and didn’t even have a socket to plug into

Ein Krankenwagen mit Pommes!
Stayed here for 3 nights and was greeted by very friendly owner.
Room very comfortable and quiet even though on main road from ferry.
Good selection of choices on menu, and managed to understand most of it with my basic knowledge of the language and managed to order food all 3 nights, and very delicious each meal was too!
Would definitely stop here again if visiting the area!

Traditional german hotel
Stayed here for 3 nights about 3km's from Remagen, soon as we arrived we were shown to our room by the manager, very friendly and helpful. Large bright,clean room with a table and chairs, wardrobe, chest of drawers etc The room was furnished very nice with new furniture.. Large bathroom with shower. We got the wi-fi code from reception,but a bit hit and miss.
Continental breakfast, cereals, selection of meats and cheeses, lovely crusty cobs etc.
Do very nice evening meals,, definenately worth trying.
The hotel is about a 10min walk to the Rhine whereby you can either walk on the promenade to Remagen or catch the car ferry (return for 2 people 3euro) across the Rhine to Linz (lovely town) or catch a cruise up the Rhine to Bonn or Cologne. We went up the Rhine to Knonigswinter worth a visit.
Limited english speaking and tourist information leaflets. The menu's do not have the meals in english, some of the words you can decipher yourself, however other words are more difficult, however what we ordered was all very nice.
I suppose the only downside is the hotel is next to a church and as the bells start ringing very early in the morning they can wake you up. There is no supermarket that closed last year so you have to either go to Remagen or Linz should you want any nibbliods.
Please visit the local pub, the local's are brill, we had a great time in there.
