Oh there's a pool, a gift shop, wine shop en enough parking. Loads of pine trees that make the place breezy.

Hidden Gem iin the Heart of Lagos
This boutique hotel serves the needs of discerning leading multinationals, individuals and others within the Lagos Island axis. It is fit for workshops and other business meetings (although it may not be too posh for top management and board level retreats by my own rating, depending on the type of organization though).
The rooms are spacious, well lit and has the necessary equipment required for a conducive business meeting). I understand the rooms are also good for individual accommodation too, even though there is still a huge room for improvement here and there.
The food, both continental and local are delicious. And the staff are very friendly and ever ready to assist to ensure your stay is worthwhile.
The facility also boasts of an inviting and serene pool side with a bar where you can sit all by yourself to meditate, read a good book, hang out with loved ones or you business partners. Again, there is a lawn tennis court and did I sight a golf course too from our training room upstairs?(please verify). All of these are embedded within an atmosphere of well kept trees and flowers.
The kinky thing about this hotel is that it is hidden, tranquil, not an all comers affair like other hotels and a good place to visit if in Nigeria either for pleasure or business.

Sligthly improved internet
- service friendly

The bad:
- some services ridiculously expensive
- rooms very dark, due to bad lighting, small windows and heavy curtains
- internet is on off
With respect to my last visit, internet has improved. Breakfast is still a somewhat sad affair, although the fresh omelette is much appreciate. I hated the darkness of the room which was very difficult to remedy even during splendid days. The pool is nice and service friendly.
