Relax among the dunes.

Nice location behind the dunes at a quiet part of the beach between Westkapelle and Zoutelande. With its own beach pavilion which unfortunately closes at 7pm in high season.

Beautifully located and wonderful stay

Not for the first time we stayed at Hotel Zuiderduin in Westkapelle, beautifully situated at the foot of the dunes. As before again a room with terrace. The accessibility of the pool is therefore optimal. Our room was spacious. The bathroom with walk-in shower is modern. The toilet group is laundry tight. Breakfast is as always more than adequate and is always freshly replenished. Breakfast on the outdoor terrace was lovely due to the nice weather and the warm morning sun. The staff in the service and at the reception did their best to complete the stay. Again: see you soon...

Great location, potential for improvement

Great location, hotel is showing its age and does not meet the standard one should expect for the price
Breakfast rather simple (with trays), toast without a toaster ;)
Room rather small, mattresses extremely soft and worn out

Not again

The reception by the unfriendly receptionist was not promising from the start. There is no elevator, it was nice that an attentive employee helped us upstairs with our luggage. The room was sufficiently large, furnished in Ikea style. The bathroom with a large shower was tiny. No refrigerator, no air conditioning. Beds very soft and uncomfortable. Going out to eat at the hotel restaurant is not worth it. Delicious is something else. The highlight is the outdoor pool. The hotel is not far from the sea, but in this area the highest dunes in the NL are up to 50 meters high. To overcome these on the way to the beach, stairs with 100 steps up and then down again. For people with disabilities, this hotel and this area are unsuitable. For what is offered, the prices are inflated.
