Great place to rest

Our stay at this hotel had everything we required for our two nights stay. Location was perfect, walking distance to all places of interest. Supermarket just along the street.Kitchen which enabled us to prepare our meals as we didn’t feel up to going out at night after our very busy days sightseeing.
Comfortable bed and lounge chairs to relax in.

The location is great if you want to stay right in the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the windows are not well soundproofed, so you can hear quite a lot of noise from the street.

God seng

Cheap room. The bed was really good, but the room was dirty.
The cupboards and all surfaces were sticky and greasy. The TV didn't work.
The driveway to the garage is incredibly narrow, with a tight turn at the bottom. Otherwise, the service was very nice.

Perfect located and comfortable hotel with wonderful team

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. It is very well located, close to the center and the boat and bus terminal.
First of all, we were up-gradated and my old mother was taken care of with so much kind consideration and support. I would like to thank the wonderful team who was amazingly nice, professional, helpful. I totally recommend this comfortable hotel.

Great simple accommodation with in room kitchen.

I spent four nights in a small one bed apartment in First City Hotel.
The location is excellent; easy to walk to from the Airport Bus on the ice and snow (buy your boot grips at the airport!), easy to visit all the sites and pick up points for tours and excursions and visit the restaurants in the evening.
There are a couple of supermarkets nearby which are handy for buying food for breakfasts and I used the in room kitchenette to prepare simple suppers a couple of days.
It’s a no frills stay in the apartments but the room was clean and warm and the WiFi was fine. When you’re staying somewhere as wonderful as Tromso you want to be outside anyway!
Fine for an active holiday but not if you’re looking for pampering and luxury.
