Clean Unit, Beautiful View from Porch

The views from the porch were lovely. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We were told there was a place we could get dinner nearby, but we had made a point of eating before we left the West Coast as we had read hours and services were extremely limited. We had purchased our own continental breakfast supplies.

Lovely spot, clean, comfortable and close by the Makarora River.

We stayed as a couple for 2 nights. The room is separate and located behind the owners house with a mountain view to the W/SW
After completing the Gillespie Pass circuit it was a welcome stay. Welcome simply because the bed was great, the shower was heaven and the room nice and clean. Ensuite was clean, food prep worked for us and the owners welcoming and polite. The WiFi worked too.

Lovely and quiet

We had our best nights sleep here. We were greeted by the lovely owner and showed to our room, which is a duplex behind her house. It has a beautiful mountain view from the balcony and window inside. The room is small but worked well for three of us. Kitcgenette is tiny but we managed with this fine. Everything was so clean and quiet!! The forest walk was suggested which we did and would highly recommend to anyone staying here. Took us about an hour strolling on a very well made path, we saw so many birds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt well rested to resume our travels the next day, wished we had time to stay two nights.

Quiet Area / Great Views

This accommodation is duplex behind the owners home. She greeted us on arrival and showed us our room. The room was quite comfortable, although would not have been spacious for multiple nights. Overall, a great place and great value. I would not hesitate to stay again.
