Unfortunately the positives don't extend much further, and you will struggle to get a decent nights sleep, especially if you are a light sleeper. The bunk bed was the creakiest bed i've ever known, and the walls are paper thin so you can hear

Ripped off and unsafe.
The staff were unhelpful, unfriendly and glued to their phones. The manager was extremely unhelpful when there was a problem with my booking and only one bed was booked instead of two. He lied that the hostel was full and charged us €200 for a bed for two nights-over double the listed price.
There was a lack of security too-no batteries in the lockable cupboards and somehow a fat, drunken, middle-aged Russian oaf wearing only underpants stumbled into our locked room.
I would not recommend this hostel for females.

No way to La guittar hostel
We arrived on a Saturday evening, when there were no other available options nearby, so we had no choice. The kitchen was a complete mess – piles of dirty dishes, very dirty overall.
I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Living in the same room as men and women is tough for women
This hostel has received relatively low reviews, but I personally think the staff are friendly, you can use the lockers with a card key, and you can open and close the front door, so there are no security issues. It's within walking distance of the station and Dugi Square. It's probably the closest accommodation to the World War II Museum. Price-wise it's not bad at 7,154 yen for three nights (without breakfast) on Booking.com.
As was the case in Berlin, there are a decent number of rooms, but men and women share rooms. This may be a bit difficult for women.
