Our weekend break to the Hotel Imperium

Fabulous time had by all, staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable. Room clean and tidy and comfortable. Thank you for making our weekend to Poland amazing and run smoothly (especially the young lady on the reception desk). Will return soon

Near the highway

This was last minute booking, and we couldn't find too many options for a family of three, so we decided to book ourselfs in here, even if we knew this place is located right at the highway - and yes, there's that noise getting through to the rooms, even if our room was facing south (highway east from the hotel). Building looks like many of this kind, built in 21st century. Fenced car park at the back, big hall with reception. Pool and bowling hall open for few hours in the afternoon. Our room was located on the top floor (second). We got junior suite - very spacious. But only the double bed was maid for us, so we had to made a sofa for our kid ourselfves (all sheets were stored in a wardrobe), even if they knew we were coming with a kid. We found holes in dirty curtains - cleaningles is an issue in Imperium. It was a very hot day and night, but we couldn't leave windows open because of highway noise, and there's no air-con in rooms. There was kind of portable air-con thing, which gave us some relief, but we couldn't leave it working for the night, as it was much lauder, than the trafic noise. Some weird arrangements with location of the restaurant, when you have to go down to reception level, go around large part of hotel (still inside the building), and then go up to the first floor. Both evening meal and breakfast quite tasty, with good choice, even if my wife recons our evening meal was heated in microwave, not cooked for us... Imperium isn't completely bad, it's just not quite our thing...

Nice hotel

The furniture in the room is very out dated. But it has a nice atmosphere. I had a late arrival and then you find that there is nothing to do. Just 1 beer and then to bed. For a frequent traveler this is not good enough.

Nice and disappointing

The hotel is located near a very busy 4 lane road about 3km from the centre of the city. Interior and main hall of the hotel is spacious and looks very nice. The halls upstairs leading to rooms have dirty carpets. Rooms are furnished with simple furniture. With wallpapers, hanging pictures and curtains they try to look old fashioned. Bathroom in our suite on a second floor was large, modern, and clean. Carpets inside the room also with stains and dirty looking. Surely bring your own slippers. Our 2 small kids slept on sofa in living room. Also the mattrace on the sofa was covered with big stains.There was a balcony with view to parking place. Surprisingly there was a portable air conditioning in the living room and very fast free WIFI in the rooms.
POSITIVES: very friendly staff, welcome drink coupons and a 10 percent off coupon for restaurant given at check in, nice park and sitting area at the back court, lots of free and monitored parking, good restaurant and sufficient buffet breakfast, low prices for extra services like bowling, massages, drinks in the bar, lots of maps, pamphlets given everywhere, good knowledge of English of the staff, given 20 percent discount from accomodation and more benefits at the main office after complaining about some problems.
NEGATIVES: during the weekend the indoor swimming pool was closed and nobody had notifoed us that it happens frequently as they have a problem with the man caring about the pool during weekends, noise at night coming from the main road if you have windows open, dirty carpets, mattraces, not enough towels in the bathroom for 4 people, not prepared sofabed for children as we came very late, having 4 pillows but only 3 blankets for 4 people.

One night stay

There was my fourth stay in this hotel. Probably the last one. My room was spacious. Bath room with big bathtube (suprise) but only small soap and shampoo not bath gel. Averange cleanless.AC didn't work. After my interventionI found out that many guests have complained about the AC in this room. The service however nothing was done. The room was very hot. When you open the window the noise from the street was unbearable. Poor wi-fi. Good breakfast.
