A little disappointing

We chose to take the guided tour with fruit tasting.
We liked the visit and history of the fajã, we think that 30 euros per person is clearly an exaggeration, given the limited supply of fruit and quantity.
Since there isn't so much fruit at this time of year, you could opt for a juice, a smoothie...

Beautiful setting with sustainability at its core

Fatima took us on the farm and fruit tasting tour which was really interesting and the fruit was delicious (generous portions!). Fatima was engaging and entertaining, and obviously proud of the farm and its efforts to be sustainable whilst producing top quality fruit and vegetables. We were also able to see the lovely accommodation they have for hire there. We followed it with some delicious prawns and local bread from the excellent restaurant on site. A beautiful setting with sustainably at its core.

Close to Paradise

What a fantastic relaxing stay at an organic farm at the bottom of a cliff accessible only by cable car. Quiet except for the waves crashing shore. We had our own “Casa” at the edge of a cliff with bedroom bath kitchenette and Adirondack chairs on the stone patio overlooking the sea. Visited the wine cellar on premises, took an excellent outdoor yoga class with the sea as background music, and joined a fascinating and informative tour of the organic farm led by our host, Fatima. All the delicious fruit and jam at breakfast was from the farm and it was fresh and delicious. There are not enough superlatives to describe how great it was to stay here,
