Nice comfortable and wonderful

Wonderful hospitality, always answer every question. Helping with find an idea for a trip or a restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and with an excellent view. The spa and the jacuzzi was open all day and it was wonderful. Herman was great!!!!

Disappointing

Overall a nice place to stay, good location and facilities etc, however there were some issues with our stay which was disappointing. We stayed in their small, but perfectly formed, studio apartment located next to reception. Checking in was a challenge as there was no one on reception (we arrived at 6pm). Checking out was the same for that matter. Hard to find anyone. The studio was lovely and very clean but lacked some basics e.g cutting knife, toaster, tea towel and we had multiple power outages during our stay as something in the kitchenette kept tripping a fuse. Very inconvenient and frustrating because we kept having to go into the restaurant to notify the owner for him to flick the switch. Clearly there is a fault but there was no investigation to properly fix it or move us to another apartment, but rather something we had to put up with. On one occasion it was in the morning whilst cooking breakfast and of course no one was in the restaurant to help, so we had to abandon our breakfast and get ready in the dark. The apartment must back onto a staff area as very noisy at night (9-11pm) and on a couple of occasions very loud music. We stayed for 13 nights and had a change of bed sheets once and towels twice during that time which was fine but no cleaning, removal of rubbish or basics replenished such as toilet roll. We had planned to use the laundry facilities during our stay but this was a challenge as although for guest use, the area was always full of huge piles of towels and sheets part washed / dried, presumably for change overs etc. The only way we managed to use it was by finishing off one of their washes, drying their towels and folding them. On the plus side, the ski / boot room is great, ideally located and we enjoyed very warm boots in the morning. The restaurant is a lovely environment and very popular so you’ll need to book. The new take-away called Umami was fab, a great addition.

one of the best places-hoagascht Flachau

last week me and my family have been in one of the most beautiful places in flachau Austria. the zimmer was so clean nice with a gourgious view to the woods. the children had a lot of space and playground.
Herman -the owner of the zimmer was so nice to us. we just wanted a toster and he ran to buy a new one.
he also has a wonderful restaurant near the zimmer...
we will come back again !!!

Fantastic location, fantastic place

We stayed in the top left hand side apartment for 6 people. Completely renovated and great place with great attention to detail, especially in the bathrooms.
Let me tell you, it really does look exactly like the pictures.
Friendly familiy owned hotel, always felt welcome from the family owners.
Beautiful location and ample to do in the town - especially for active people and children.
WILL 100% be booking next year.
The restaurant is a must visit (great food!) - 20 meters from the hotel.

Ski Holiday

Perfect appartement !!! Plenty of room in the appartment Zirbenstube.
Ideal place to stay with our family.
Skislopes Flachau are perfect reachable by walking or by taking the ski bus.
Skibus stop to go to Flachauwinkel is very near.
Spar center for food very near. Restaurant Hoagascht has excelent food.
Booking for next year done !!!
