Great stay at the Explorer Hotel Montafon with friends
We had a really great stay at the Explorer Hotel Montafon and would come back anytime. The hotel is modern, very clean, and impresses with a well-thought-out concept. The rooms are well-furnished, the breakfast offers a large selection, and the entire team was friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. The location is also ideal—for hikes, bike tours, as well as for excursions in the surrounding area.
A small suggestion for improvement: It would be nice if the sauna were open for 1–2 hours longer in the evening so that you could use it even more relaxedly after a long day in the mountains. Furthermore, we would find it modern and customer-friendly if the underground parking spaces were offered free of charge for hotel guests. That would additionally round off the overall very positive impression of the hotel.
Overall, we had an all-around successful stay and can definitely recommend the Explorer Hotel Montafon!

Dass euch unser modernes Konzept, die Sauberkeit, das Frühstück und unser hilfsbereites Team so begeistern konnten, ist einfach genial.

Saunaöffnungszeiten: Den Wunsch, nach einem langen Tag auf den Beinen noch etwas länger in der Sauna zu entspannen, verstehe ich total. Ich nehme deinen Vorschlag für unsere internen Besprechungen mit!
Tiefgaragenparkplätze: Die Parkplatzgebühr haben wir einheitlich eingeführt, um auch einen kleinen Anreiz für die Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu setzen und die Umwelt zu schonen. Ich verstehe aber natürlich, dass das aus Gastperspektive ein Punkt ist.
Für euren nächsten Trip mit Freunden habe ich wieder eine exakte Tour direkt von der offiziellen Montafon-Tourismuskarte parat: Wie wäre es beim nächsten Mal mit der Wanderung „A3: Dorfrunde Partenen“? Das ist ein wunderschöner, entspannter Rundweg direkt im Nachbarort, der sich perfekt eignet, um nach einer großen Bergtour die Beine wieder locker zu gehen. ️
Schön, dass ihr bei uns im Basislager zu Gast wart – wir freuen uns schon riesig darauf, euch alle bald wieder bei uns im Montafon zu begrüßen!

A lovely place to spend a few days
A lovely place to spend a few days. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, a good breakfast and friendly staff. One point of concern is the elevator. It's limited in space and heavily used during peak hours. Because you can't take the stairs to the ski room - at least, I didn't see them - it often takes a long time.

Regarding your point about the elevator: We know it can get quite busy during the "rush hour" when everyone is heading to the slopes at the same time. You actually found a little hidden path challenge there – for safety and organizational reasons, the main staircase is primarily for the guest floors, but there is indeed a way to reach the ski room area more quickly. Next time you're here, just ask me or one of the Buddys, and we’ll show you the fastest "climber's route" to your gear! ♂️⛷️
Since you enjoyed the comfort of the hotel, for your next trip I highly recommend checking out the Grasjoch area. It offers some of the most scenic and sporty runs in the Montafon. Or, if you're looking for something unique, try a sunset walk at the Kristberg – the atmosphere there is truly magical. ️✨

Had a great stay, the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had and included a self cook egg station. You cannot really walk to the ski lift though. It's a bus ride to the silvretta bahn but the bus stops at the hotel.
