Great!
A super breakfast every morning and a nice option to eat some really "Kärntisch" in the evening. And the animals on the farm.... a Valhalla for children. Great!

It couldn't be more unfriendly!
ONLY HOSTING. Status: 05.02.2026.We were guests in the restaurant for years and always very satisfied. We hiked up on February 5th. A total mess at the restaurant. There were file folders everywhere and all the documents lying around.
We found a reasonably decent free space. After about a woman came, greeted us, but walked past us into the kitchen. After another 10 minutes the owner showed up without greeting and said: "We're closed!" We told him okay, but down the main street on his billboard it says open, as well as on his homepage nothing to the contrary.
The doors to the restaurant are not locked either. The road to him is not without it. Even for drinking, my wife and our granddaughter and I were not offered anything.
He simply replied: Should I nail my windows?....and disappeared somewhere. So rude, dismissive and disgusting. We will certainly not go there as long as this person is there. It's a real shame.

Wonderful view!
We went to the Chabitcher in June 25 and October 25.
The farm is much better off, the animals also seem to be doing well and a younger couple is very anxious to prepare the farm.
We didn't eat anything but the drinks were good.
The view up here is always worth a visit.

Uninhabitable
The pictures on the websites are great but on site it is uninhabitable
It is not recommended
Always look at the score before you bay. Otherwise you have no holiday with us it was the honeymoon where we spent 9 hours in the car to vacation there and stood in front of an uninhabitable cabin and on the same day another
had to look for accommodation

A worthwhile excursion destination for the whole family
There was a lot on offer for our small children. The food (especially the house specialties) was excellent. And the view from the terrace was worth it. And the staff were very friendly. What more could you want? We'll definitely be back.
