Best value for such quality.
Stayed here for 3 days in February 2026.
Had the best welcome you could ask for, all the family really courteous and helpful.
The pitch was really quiet at night and we slept well every night.
The sauna wellness and shower block and toilets are immaculate.
The restaurant had local and international cuisine we loved every meal there.
The price is really fantastic when you think it gives you a pitch with wifi wellness and a free shuttle bus.
Would definitely recommend this place and we will look at returning summer time

Uncomfortable
€67,- for 50m2 . Like herrings in a barrel.
Pure profit, with 2 caravans, tents or motorhomes in one place.
Double the rate. There were people who could no longer get around their caravan due to lack of space

Inhospitable and poor infra
Very poor attitude of the staff at reception and general service. While submitting a comment/complaint. (Which we actually wanted to put to them, to prevent others,) we were shouted at and things were said that really shouldn't be said from the point of view of hospitality and corporate responsibility. No empathetic capacity and only in one's own experience or being able to continue to communicate emotion. (Complaint about the total flooding of our pitch during a decent rainstorm, along with two or three more pitches, where the rest of the campsite was not bothered) During the presentation it was clear that they had known about these "problem spots" for a long time but everything was blamed on mother nature with pointing finger. Really completely inhospitable and from our view the tone to be described as aggressive and stuck in waver behaviour. The toilets and showers are too few in number in our opinion for the large number of guests resulting in queues and dirty toilets / showers. (From our own perception and experience) Also, the Infra part is not sufficient in our opinion. The drainage system is not in order and you cannot easily enter and leave the campsite from many places with an oncoming vehicle. Perhaps an afterburner on my part: as a closing note, this person indicated that we should not come to Bergen on holiday otherwise and during my departure at the reception they were still talking about "those Dutchmen". Can you think of anything...

Nice camping holiday
Great campsite on the lake with friendly staff and very good sanitary facilities. Excellent restaurant on site with nice sauna offer.

Locked inside the campsite — very frustrating experience
We booked one of the wooden cabins provided directly by the camping site — so our expectations were similar to what you would normally have for a small hotel room. And to be fair, there were some positives.
What we liked
• The mountain view is beautiful.
• The lake next to the campsite is stunning — calm, clean and very picturesque.
• The cabin itself was clean inside.
• The kitchen is well equipped — you have plenty of utensils and cookware.
• At check-in we received a map with local attractions (in German, but that’s our problem — we already speak 5 languages and haven’t mastered German yet).
Unfortunately, everything else was rather disappointing.
⚠️ What could be improved
Missing basic essentials
• No simple amenities like soap, shower gel or shampoo.
• Lots of dishes in the cabin, but no dish soap, only a dishwasher. We didn’t use enough dishes to run a full load.
• Not even a single tea bag in the cabin.
• Pillows are so bad there, my back still hurts.
SPA experience
We stayed more than two days, so spa access was included. But:
• No towels provided automatically — we had to go ask for them. This would be such an easy service improvement.
• When entering the spa, we were questioned line-by-line about whether we had paid for it. Extremely awkward, we have already showed the card.
Just a note for future guests who would like to book cabins. We were lucky to travel off-season.
Because if you come here in high season — forget about privacy.
The four cabins stand literally within arm’s reach of each other. You can see everything through the windows, the sound isolation is almost nonexistent. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and quiet time together, these cabins would be a huge disappointment in summer.
Small things like these add up — and they shape your overall impression.
The worst part — we were literally locked inside.
We informed the reception twice that we planned to leave early at 6:00 AM.
Once on arrival, and once the evening before departure.
In the morning we came to the gate… and the barrier was closed.
There was nobody on site to help.
We were simply stuck inside the campsite.
After waking up early, packing, and preparing to drive home — we stood there unable to leave because nobody bothered to open the gate or tell us how to get out.
This completely ruined our experience.
It felt like guest comfort simply doesn’t matter here. And for every tiny thing, they first ask you whether you paid for it. It’s exhausting.
We travel a lot, stay at different levels of accommodation. Even the simplest and cheapest places in other countries we’ve been to greet you with warmth and care. Here, unfortunately, the friendliness doesn’t feel genuine.
If someone had at least told us to park outside the gate the night before, it would have saved the whole situation. But nobody did.
Instead, we were left standing in front of a locked barrier at dawn.
❌ Overall
For the price they charge, this place simply doesn’t deliver. Beautiful nature, yes — but the service quality just isn’t there.
We won’t be returning, and sincerely hope future guests get a better experience than we did.

Bezüglich des SPA-Bereichs möchten wir höflich darauf hinweisen, dass wir ein Campingplatz und kein 5-Sterne-Wellnesshotel sind. Unser Spa-Angebot ist ein zusätzlicher Service, den wir unseren Gästen kostengünstig zur Verfügung stellen. Dementsprechend liegt der Preis für einen Aufenthalt bei uns natürlich auf einem völlig anderen Niveau als in einem Wellnesshotel, das umfassende Hotelservices und Rundumbetreuung bietet. Ein Campingplatz bietet dagegen ein naturnahes und unabhängiges Urlaubserlebnis.
Zum Thema Privatsphäre und Abstand: Zwischen allen Unterkünften gilt ein Mindestabstand von vier Metern. Zusätzlich sind die Bereiche durch Hecken und Sträucher voneinander abgegrenzt, um mehr Privatsphäre zu gewährleisten.
Auch bezüglich der Schrankenzeiten möchten wir nochmals klarstellen, dass diese – wie auf fast allen Campingplätzen in Europa – zwischen 22:00 und 07:00 Uhr geschlossen sind, um Ruhezeiten und Sicherheit zu gewährleisten. Beim Check-in wurden Sie darüber informiert. Zusätzlich finden Sie diese Hinweise auf dem Infozettel in Ihrer Unterkunft sowie in der digitalen Gästemappe. Für eine Abfahrt vor 07:00 Uhr empfehlen wir, das Auto außerhalb zu parken.
