Simple but good hotel

Hotel located in degraded area of the center of Athens, simple accommodation. The coffee is also simple, but it is a well sanitized, well organized environment and the staff is very attentive and friendly. It's worth the cost-benefit. If I went back to Athens, I would stay there! :)

3 stars...... maybe

The stay was all in all satisfactory, but the hotel does not reflect what is posted on the site with the pictures.
The extremely friendly reception staff, the rest leaves much to be desired for what a 4-star hotel should be. With the elevator you have 2 choices, either 2 people enter or 1 person with luggage (which must not be very heavy otherwise you have to make more Trips). My single room had a double bed but compared to the photos on the site the rest was completely different. The small bathroom with shower that had neither a partition nor the curtain. The classic hairdryer with the cables that were almost detached from the apparatus and with the plug to be connected to the electrical outlet. Problema!! In the bathroom there are no electrical outlets. The standard small safe could work with both "AA stylus batteries" and the key. But there were only 3 batteries and needed 4. Breakfast changed depending on the time and day. One day you found cold milk and ace juice, another cold water instead of hot coffee, then if there was no coffee you had to go to the counter and pay for it separately.

Disappointed area

Nice little hotel. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate breakfast. The hotel is well aware of the run down area it’s in, so I don’t want to add anything to that. It would be great, however, if, as someone else suggested, more people invested in the area to restore it to its former glory.
But we also can’t understand how there’s so much Graffiti everywhere, makes the place look unsafe
And as we are in our Twilight years it’s in a daunting area but still very enjoyable

Four stars inadequate..

Friendly staff and optimal distance from the center, but the good ends here. Decent cleanliness but little attention to the furnishings, faded armchairs, same bathroom mats, bubble bath with dispenser, a broken window. Magnetic resonance lift, breakfast not up to par with cappuccino and espresso for a fee. The area is frequented 24 hours a day by prostitutes, drug addicts and homeless people, we were not bothered but certainly not a nice sight.

Appalling

Degraded area, a lot of drug addiction and prostitution.
To get to the center you have to go through the marginal neighborhood and Chinatown.
At night there is a lot of noise. We arrived at the hotel before 7 for security reasons.
Fair breakfast, 45 minutes to the airport
