Great holiday

The hotel is located on the beach in Sami. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Location is quiet and you are a distance from many of the “must see hotspots”. Get my guide has most of these covered in one or two trips and collection point is across the road from reception.
The hotel is only a short walk along the beach to the village and Marina. There are several restaurants there. Some are actually on the pebble beach.
Any subsequent visit we would go on a B&B basis, we went half board, the food is exceptional but the menu didn’t change in the time we were there. Beware of the portion sizes each of the salads (starters for one) are delicious and a full meal for two on their own.
Wine prices are very reasonable and there is a well stocked bar.
Breakfast is much busier than dinner. The breakfast offer is predominantly Mediterranean in style and very fresh , there is also a limited English breakfast offering.
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive.
I would recommend this hotel, the island is definitely worth a trip.

Lovely hotel, beautiful location.

Stayed at this hotel earlier in the summer. As others have said the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The location couldn’t be better, just outside Sami, so quiet, but such a lovely walk into town. Sami has lots of good restaurants. All the meals we had were very good value, especially if you have house wine. Hotel breakfast restaurant has beautiful views and very good service. Fresh fruit every day was excellent. If the hotel had any fault it would be that the evening restaurant is very quiet, so lacks atmosphere. Ignore any negative comments, we had an extremely relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable holiday in a very beautiful part of the world. We will certainly return to this hotel, highly recommended.

Disappointed in the pool area

The hotel next door (3*) is sharing the pool area. I wouldn’t have stopped here if I’d of known. I arrived to sunbathe one afternoon and there were only a few tatty sunbeds left (and I mean TATTY!. Ripped and dirty) it was at least half full of the hotel guests from next door.
The hotel itself is okay but not as I expected for the star rating. We arrived late at night and were given a basic and accessible room even though booked a superior. After speaking to the receptionist who spoke to the manager, we were given the room we booked. On a positive note, we’re only staying b&b and the breakfast here is good.
The staff have been amazing . Very attentive and always with a smile

Could be excellent! They choose not to be!

Excellent location and fabulous for surrounding restaurants, bars and tavernas! Rooms are spacious with good air conditioning. Breakfast good and the staff are friendly and welcoming! One of the best locations I’ve stayed in the Greek islands. However, can’t be a 5* as the hotel readily has visitors from the 3* Athina across the road who pay €5 per night tourist tax whereas hotel guests pay €15 per night! There is no charge for them to use facilities, sunbeds and towels! You can’t unfortunately offer a 5* experience on those terms!!! Would I stay again? With all the pros ordinarily yes! But because of the lowering of their standards then NO!! should the current arrangement change then in a flash i’d change this opinion and return regularly!!!
