⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I give it the 5 stars, not the hotel.
I had a good time, they even changed my room without any problems, the coffee was excellent, and the shower had fantastic pressure (those who travel know how much that counts!).
This hotel has all the potential to become the place to return to every summer... and in fact, I will return. But is it really a 5-star? No, definitely not. It is an excellent seaside hotel, without too many expectations, with a price-quality ratio that is hard to beat.
If you want to spend €500 a night, you will certainly find more luxurious properties on the island, but in my opinion, that would be madness. In Skiathos, you don't need a magazine-cover pool: you need a boat and the desire to swim in a spectacular sea.
The real strong point is the location: directly on the sea, immersed in silence, with a panoramic pool and two splendid beaches on the sides of the hotel, among the most sheltered on the island. In 5 minutes by car, you can also reach Skiathos Town.
Breakfast, on the terrace with a sea view, is pleasant and complete. The rooms are clean, essential, and in a classic minimal style, perhaps even too minimal Greek: perfect for sleeping in, but far from the comfort one expects from a true 5-star hotel. I would say more of a good 3-star.
What is missing is a bit of soul. The management is family-run and you can tell, but with more attention to detail, more hospitality, and a pinch more passion, this place could become truly special. I would gladly pay a little more if that leap in quality were made.
One last piece of advice: rent a boat at Kanapitsa beach. The guys at the rental shop are exceptional: helpful, young, knowledgeable, and with that genuine desire to make you feel welcome. Also thanks to them, this vacation was so beautiful.

Amazing Holiday

A view to die for from our balcony it was so beautiful, breakfast was excellent, room basic but spotless a lady cleaned evey day & changed towels.
Hotel staff are wonderful very helpful, pleasant & always welcoming. Easy access to town via water taxi or local bus.
Will definitely be back .

Our 2nd time here, nice appointed room with good air con, the pool bar area staff are excellent , well organised at breakfast, wish someone could cook bacon properly,
Has the traces of lack of investment decor a bit sad but in a great position, went with Jet2 who are very well organised,

Cape Kanapitsa hotel an amazing find on the island

This hotel is an amazing find on the island . It was our first visit to Skaithos and we are so very pleased we chose this hotel and location it was perfect. The hotel staff are so warm and welcoming and cannot do enough for you the rooms are cleaned daily and the views out to bays are breathtaking. Alongside this you are provided with outstanding service in the bar and restaurant area where every guest is made to feel welcome and special - we will definitely book again and would highly recommend - thank you Mai & Anya

Beautiful! You can just visit the restaurant called Blu.

We visited just the restaurant and it was fabulous. Great setting watching the beautiful sunset. Food was absolutely delicious, plentiful and really reasonably priced. Staff were attentive. The complimentary bread and dips, and then the mix of desserts was a wonderful touch. We will definitely visit here again this holiday.
