Beautifully Restored Hotel with Outstanding Hospitality
Our room was stunning, with beautiful traditional stone architecture and an exceptionally large, incredibly comfortable bed — one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. It really added to the luxurious and relaxing feel of the stay.
What really made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Daniel was especially informative and attentive, always happy to help with recommendations and providing excellent service at breakfast each morning.
A special mention also has to go to the wonderful Christina whose scrambled eggs were honestly the best we have ever tasted! Breakfast each day was something we genuinely looked forward to. We also had the pleasure of meeting Andy, the owner, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience.
We were especially grateful to John, who met us at the ferry at the very early arrival time of 5:45am and kindly arranged for us to access our room immediately on arrival. This level of care and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay.
The only slight downsides for us personally were that the bathroom area, although stylishly designed, did lack a little privacy as it was open within the bedroom space, separated mainly by the wardrobe and sink area. We also felt the room lighting could have been improved, as some of the lights appeared not to be working, making the room quite dim at times.
However, these were only minor points in what was otherwise a truly memorable stay. A beautiful and unique hotel that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Symi.

Amazing Hotel
1. Rooms are beautiful- really comfy super king beds and great pillows -
2. Ridiculously amazing breakfast included- you can order as much as you want - fantastic service and special thanks to
Christina the chef - scrambled eggs are epic
3. The manager was super welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations to eat etc - Lyris Restaurant was epic
4. They really take care of you - we got to check in at 10:00am
5. The only thing to note is its up about 20 steps
but that is part of traveling and the view from the restaurant is totally worth it
