Very good accomodation

We came to this hotel after a storn in the mountains, and had a perfect visit. Worm room and hot shower, great food in their resturant and very kind people. Nice view to the mountains.
Highly recomended.

Tasty lunch

We did not stay here, just had a lunch. We were looking for fish around and this was the closest to the Brancoveanu Monastery. It was entirly empty the moment we arrieved and we left. After, discussing over the matter for a while we decided to give it a try due to my husband's adventurous way of loving and turned around. I did not feel quite comfortable with the idea with having lunch at a place with no guests. But we considered the fact tat we wanted trout and these guys were actually growing and selling fresh trout. It is not a clean place at the inside, no need to mention fhe bathrooms and the stuffy smell everyone, howevere, we ate outside. The service was fast, but hey, we were alone and the fish was actually really well prepared. We opted for grilled and fried trouts with fries and polenta. We were happy with the choice. Also, as we were enjoying our lunch comes kept on coming and people started filling the empty tables.
Could be tried if out of options. The prices are low for both food and drinks.

Good location but outdated hotel

I was staying in the beginning of September, in an apartment, at this hotel. The price was low but you can see why. Deplorable cleanliness, dust and mildew; Bathroom, furniture and linen old; Sockets hanging from the wall. You can notice the trout dishes from the restaurant, but the prices for certain dishes are high, the waiters move chaotic, the order takes a long time. Breakfast can only be served after 9 o'clock, much too late for those who want to climb the mountain. Who runs the location shows a total disinterest towards the customers, the cleanliness and the rules of a hotel.

Not good.

Not very good conditions. Not very clean, not enough warm, very bad accessibility on a forest road. The food was good instead and the people were very nice and eager to serve. Check in very late in the night was allowed.

Nice resto in the mountain

This is a nice rest in the Romanian Mountain, near a monastery, the view is magnificent ! But the waiters and the bartenders..... Better to order yesterday to be able to eat tomorrow!! And you order one think, they bring you whatever they want... Im a little disappointed, im Romanian and not proud for the service. The food was good to excellent, depends if you like the traditional Romanian food.
Yes i recommend this resto, but be aware!
