I just used this as a one night stop over from the airport. The hotel was clean and the lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was situated ideally for getting to the ferry the next day. It was walkable to Victoria, but it was about a 45 minute walk.

Keep walking.

I stayed one night in this residence with my partner before an early morning flight. The location of the residence is ideal as it is situated 10 minutes from the airport; that is really the only reason I see to choose this hotel. Given the positive reviews, I did not expect to have any unpleasant surprises.
Unfortunately, that was the case, and more than one!
Unidentified stains on the bedding, presence of hair in the bathroom and on the bed, very cold water, no hairdryer in the rooms.
The icing on the cake: we were informed on the day of our arrival that the restaurant would not serve guests that evening as it had been privatized along with the terrace for an event. If it had stopped there, it would have been bearable, except that our room was located right above the terrace and was clearly poorly soundproofed. Our night was simply a nightmare as we could not close our eyes between the shouting and the music until 1 or 2 in the morning. Despite my request to the receptionist, nothing was done to lower the music and the noise in general.
In short, I really do not recommend it; the only positive point of this residence is that we only stayed one night.

Very good 1-night stay

My wife and I, together with our daughter, decided to spend a night at The Ridge Residence in Mahe before catching the Cat Cocos ferry to La Digue the next morning.
The property is located on a ridge in a pleasant area, with lovely panoramic views of the surrounding area, the ocean, and nearby islands. The property is conveniently located close to the airport, and to the Victoria Jetty, which are an easy 20 or 15 minute drive away respectively.
Our standard triple room, with comfortable beds, en- suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, air conditioning, mini-fridge and coffee maker, was spacious and clean.
The full breakfast at the onsite restaurant, with sufficient choice, was delicious.
Overall, we had a very good 1-night stay at The Ridge Residence.

It's was a excellent experience...we even come back for dinner the next day we checked out..the staff was very amazing and friendly..keep it up...nice ☺️
