EXCELLENT HOTEL

The hotel is very comfortable. Located in an area with lush nature. Very quiet. The view from the pool is spectacular. The kitchen is second to none. Very friendly and hospitable. I recommend it without any doubt.

This is a lovely rural property that provided us the retreat that we needed. We had the “Moucho” room which had a nice balcony and skylight over the bed. We had great meals in their restaurant and the pool area looked very inviting but the rainy day prevented us from using it. We appreciate how friendly and welcoming they were with us despite our very limited Spanish skills!

You have to come relax here!

It is an idyllic, spectacular place, the treatment is better than at home, the tranquility that is breathed and the atmosphere is unmatched, swimming pool, restaurant, spectacular terrace, facilities that take you to another era, surrounded by nature.

A beautiful spot and a lovely place to eat!

We stopped at the Rectoral a few years ago, looking for a cool drink after a day swimming in the river at Maceira (also highly recommended). We were lucky enough to find a drink with beautiful views included!
We returned today in search of refreshment and out of nostalgia - were still impressed by this beautiful place. The service was great, the drinks and nibbles just lovely. It was so nice we didn’t want to leave so we waited until it was time for dinner service to begin and treated ourselves to a lovely meal - beef cheeks in red wine highly recommended by all - finished with a fig cheesecake (figs from the tree you can see as you enter). Just lovely. Look forward to our next visit.
