Nice apartment but not much of a view but the price was great
We rented a bottom apartment in this complex.The apartment was very nice, well equipped, secure, patio and next to the pool. Other than the pool and the complex across the way, the bottom patio doesn't have much of a view. However, the price was good. The upper apartments have great views but more space then we needed and more expensive. You get what you pay for. If views aren't a concern and you don't mind walking up/down 50 steps, these are great apartments. Close to the beach and near a supermarket

Nerja beautiful resort,but check your location 1st!!
I chose to ignore the poor reviews about these apts .(DIFFICULTIES WITH KEYS ETC), as we were booking with Alpha rooms and always had a good deal in the past, but will be sending them the same review as I believe they should remove them from their port folio for several reasons- NO RECEPTION ,notice board tells you to ring the agent to access your apt keys from a security box on the wall,we were lucky to arrive at 7pm sunday as at least 5 other couples came at various later times in the evening over the following week,we in turn helped them to access their keys.we could not make contact with the agent after several attempts and a neighbour gave us the code! we decended the 49 steps to our apt, opened the door and your first step is down with further spiraling steps to the kitchen, Very clean but has a damp odour hence the air freshners in each room.Used the first tavern at the bottom of the hill 10 mins; at 45degs,also water and bread from beach s'm'kt so we could have some breakfast.No kettle!
monday morning decide to find a big supermkt to get main items in for the two weeks,kind neighbour gave us a lift to the nearest one 15 mins uphill at 45degs if walking. we returned by taxi and charged 7euros for the 4 min journey back down . ALL taxis charge from their base in town hence the price if you stay in the Burriana side of town. we then walked up the hill and then down into town and located the letting agent ,very pleasant staff and they purchased a kettle for us and gave us a welcome letter & map telling us how to find them & bring your passports! we had our passports and all of our cash on us as the security box is not available for use also the T.V because of the location & the weather? Also the air conditioning as the unit is set at too high a temp' according to a neighbour who happens to be an engineer.The middle saturday is the only visit by a maid to clean and change the sheets! we had no idea of this and got a call from her at 11am on my mobile to say we must come back to have any service!! we duly returned from town ,one hour in the midday sun!! Oh! I forgot to mention the cockroaches that come out at night when you visit the loo in the early hours. all the apts have them but after spraying we were rid of them after the second night.The location demands car hire but we wanted a stress free break. We had a lovely holiday but will study the location of any property in future!!
