Overpriced experience
We liked the location. Everyone on reception was incredibly helpful. The staff we encountered in the breakfast room were fantastic. Breakfast was great, we found everything we wanted and I think if not the staff would have made every effort to provide it. We didn’t encounter queues and food was constantly replenished. The breakfast room was pretty basic. We appreciated the complimentary minibar, diet drinks would be great. Our room was quiet and we appreciated the outdoor space.
The negatives:
The coffee at breakfast is awful. Regretfully we felt we’d overpaid for the junior suite. It’s an awkward long corridor of a room with very little storage space. It’s showing wear and tear, the fixtures and fittings are pretty basic. We lived partly out of suitcases for 6 days which had to be strategically placed so we didn’t fall over them going to the bathroom at night. After leaving our previous hotel, the bed felt tiny and with just enough space to walk either side. The pillows are terrible. The bedding was two sheets with a duvet sandwiched between, it made me feel uncomfortable and wonder if the duvet is changed for every guest. I feel better when it’s hidden and buttoned into a cover so that I don’t have to think who may have touched it! Whoever cleaned the shower kept leaving the bath mat inside the shower with the shower door closed , I absentmindedly went to pick it out before a shower one day and hit my head, burst my lip and chipped my tooth on the shower door I can only laugh about it now. The room we had was not value for money and the tariff did not align with this standard of hotel. That said, I think the hotel is a very good option if you book a standard room.

Lovely hotel
Very helpful customer service: receptionist recommended a restaurant that we liked a lot, kitchen very hospitable.
Convenient location, we walked to the beach, to the port, old town.
Good conditioner- very important in this heat.
