Great job, Haizea!

Today, thanks to an Instagram giveaway, we dined at the Haizea restaurant, and it was fantastic. A very complete menu with an appetizer, a glass of cod brandade, Hondarribia tuna, and beef cheek. Dessert and everything accompanied by txakoli Etxaniz.
Great attention from the team; we will repeat without a doubt. And on top of that, it was not my birthday, and they brought me candles!!

Previously 3 star level

The superior room is not really worth the extra cost.
Bathroom urgently needs a modernization, neon lamps are out of date.
The room itself is very spacious.
Fairly hard mattress.
Breakfast is not really extensive, we had more choice in the kyriad hotel in Limoges which has 3 stars.
Bad white and brown Toast bread and small white piccolos.
No fruit lettuce, but fresh fruit whole and sliced. 2 types of jam.
What is positive is that the fruit juice was fresh or tasted like fresh. And the coffee is good, too.
I don't know how this hotel has earned 4 stars, but as far as I'm concerned it's not worth this right now.

Hotel is okay but not 4*

The hotel looks fine at first glance, but we would not say it has 4 stars. The room had small negative details: the TV was small, the hair dryer was very old, the toilet was literally stuck to the sink, which caused you to bump into things...
The location is not bad. You can take bus 19 to get downtown.

The hotel is not central and up a hill in a quite area, easy to reach by bus, several busses goes close from the hotel to the city centre in 10 min. Hotel is simple and a bit old in facilities but clean. Small and ok breakfast.

Excellent for families and babies

What an amazing hotel located in a quaint neighborhood of Donostia! We got a suite for a couple and our 1 year old baby, and the hotel provided us a nice bassinet for the baby. The AC mostly worked (needed to ask the front desk for help) but the staff was very courteous.
There is a terrace and a fitness center, and a nice restaurant as well. It is also located near several nice cafes and restaurants . Highly recommend.
The only issue is that this is located in a suburb so you will need to take a taxi or uber to get to the city center.
