We stayed in the family room which was huge, over 2 floors. The room was very high spec.
Pool is a community pool, 5 min walk away. Cost of this is 3euros per adult, 2euros per child. Cash is preferred. The location of the pool is phenomenal. The children loved it.
The bar opposite the hotel serves food and accepts card payments. Service and gin and tonics were excellent!

This boutique hotel with a difference had a lot of promise but sadly failed to live up to our expectations. We paid almost 1000 euro for a 4 night stay in the family penthouse in high summer. The Hotels.com description doesn't explain that the hotel is part of a tourism drive in the mountain villages and cleverly involves the local infrastructure to offer a pool and even breakfast. Something which could be a real selling point in its own right. Unfortunately its omission from the description, and an over 200 euro a night price tag, has left us disappointed and feeling misled.
We arrived just after the check in time and rang the doorbell a few times. Someone eventually opened the door but spoke only Spanish and was about to close the door, until I showed her our booking details. The room appeared ready but we did find eggshell on the rug and the sofa had a few marks and was quite basic and uncomfortable, out of keeping with the lovely antique chest and wardrobe.
Our boys took the upstairs penthouse as the beds were made up separately while we had the downstairs room, which felt quite dark and not as luxurious, compounded by a lack of hangers in the wardrobe and the air conditioning unit flashing an error all night, and not working.
The photos of the room show a glimpse of the stone steps to the upper level but nowhere does

Nice and authentic
The Senda Caimari is a nice, rather simple accommodation in an authentic village at the foot of the Tramuntana and on the Wg to Lluc. For us, this fit with only two nights, even checking in by phone was no problem. Breakfast was okay, everything else worked, the house is noisy. Not for people looking for comfort. The bar directly opposite was great!

Poor check in very little little info in the place ie places shut in a Monday!
Poor communication with the hotel when we left are rucksack.
Placec though was nice and the lady in the morning very pleasant.

Lovely property decorated nicely. Bathroom could do with a little more love but it was clean and the room was tidy. Bed was very comfy too. There wasn’t any water in my room on arrival though which it should have been.
Breakfast was very basic with toast and cereal on offer.
Check in is at 3 but no staff work during this time, making check in feel a bit unwelcoming but they are available on phone. Make sure you know how to contact them otherwise you won’t knew able to get in through the street door.
Overall though a pleasant stay.
