An "adults only" hotel that we recommend!
We discovered this hotel last year and returned this year.
Still just as satisfied overall with the quiet establishment, with a balcony, equipped with a pool and located a 15-minute walk from the center, offering a nice, varied breakfast with both savory and sweet options.
The cleaning is impeccable and the sheets are changed regularly.
We chose a half-board package with lunch this year.
The menus change every day; it is fresh and good and served on a tablecloth-covered table.
The young man who assisted us at the front desk was great.
A few negative points, however, which explain why our rating went from 5 to 4:
- the outdoor areas are a bit neglected this year: decking around the pool is damaged and an area near the water wall (without water this year) is inaccessible, parasols have holes and there is a shortage of lounge chairs even though there is space, no more cushions on the Balinese bed
- not enough staff in the dining room and at the bar: service is too slow (you have to count on 1.5 hours for lunch) and consequently, a lack of smiles and friendliness from the staff.
- the pool access time limited to 10 a.m. in the morning is a bit late for those who get up early because not everyone parties every night.
... This will not stop us from coming back next year, hoping that the outdoor areas will be restored.
PS: at breakfast, the orange juice in a pitcher was clearly better than last year, however, it only lasted 2 days because we had to drink chemical orange juice from a machine again, which was uninteresting.

Great staff, great location, great hotel!
From check-in to check-out we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Antemare.
We arrived early and the standard room we had booked was not quite ready so we enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar which was a welcome relief from the afternoon heat. When we finished our drinks the room was still not ready so the person at reception upgraded our room without charge which was a lovely touch.
The room overlooked the hotel entrance and was clean and comfortable. We stayed at the same time as some friends and their room overlooked the pool and caught the sun from an early hour!
Breakfast had plenty options and had plenty of tables available either inside or out.
There is a main pool area with many sun loungers, along with a raised terrace area, however if this is overcrowded there is a smaller plunge pool with more sun loungers.
The hotel is about 15 minutes’ walk out of Sitges centre which we found great as having stayed in the centre previously it can be loud from a very early time with refuse and recycling vehicles.
We will definitely be back to the Antemare.

Always judge for yourself.
I read earlier reviews and was very apprehensive about staying at the hotel. How wrong I was. The staff on reception both when checking in and with occasional questions could not do enough to help. We had room with pool view on the third floor. It was small basic with excellent balcony and chairs. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. There were ample sunbeds and parasols. The bonus being able to sit in the shallow end of the pool at the end of each day. A big shout out to the ladies who cleaned the pool area and wiped the loungers and tables daily obviously taking pride in their work. We would walk into town and back twice a day along the promenade which was great. Having stayed at other hotels in Sitges this one exceeded expectations and we will definitely be back. I understand that this was our experience but we spoke to a couple of other people who had been going to the hotel for a few years and they were of the same opinion.

Pleasant stay
The hotel allows for a pleasant stay both for the quiet location and for the services offered with comfortable rooms, nice pool, kind staff. Some small problems were promptly resolved by the manager, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. A separate issue is the restaurant offering which does not satisfy at all due to quality, selection, and mediocre preparation of the dishes. So it needs to be completely revised. Rough table service, with the exception of the Italian waitress and the Spanish boy who were efficient and empathetic. Overall, however, a valid hotel choice.

Tranquility, adults only, courtesy.
Like every year I stop at this hotel, the tranquility and the possibility of having an adults-only hotel is top-notch, the pool is excellent, the organization of the facility and the courtesy of the staff are good. The rooms are comfortable, the cleanliness of the hotel is good. I recommend it. I had the courtesy of meeting the hotel manager, Ms. Jessica L., since I have been a customer for many years, to compliment her on her organization in keeping the hotel so tidy, with the hope that it will always be like this and better every year. This year the pool is really quiet and there are lounge chairs for everyone, excellent.
