Check in was ok. Room was very nice until we went to bed. I got up during the night to use the bathroom. When I turned on the light there were baby cockroaches running around on the floor and the vanity. I went into the kitchen to get a paper towel to kill the roaches. When I turned on that light there were baby cockroaches running around on the counter. I caught and killed at least a dozen. At 7 AM the next morning I went to the front desk with the dead roaches in a paper towel. I showed the woman at the desk the roaches and requested a new room. She said she couldn’t do anything until the manager came in at 9 AM. I then requested housekeeping to come and spray the room. She said she couldn’t do anything until the housekeeping manager came in at 9AM. Finally at 9 AM I was given another room. During the wait I killed 5 more roaches. At the very least the morning clerk should be able to make a simple decision like providing a new room. She did take my personal phone number and said the manager would be calling me to personally address the bug issue. It’s been 2, days and I’m still waiting for the call. The hotel is expensive. I would have expected a better response from someone. It was a very disappointing stay. My Bonvoy membership didn’t seem to help either.

Very Good Stay to Visit Boston

We stayed 5 nights here and had a great experience overall. The rooms were clean and spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out as a family. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful — Elaine and Francisco in particular went out of their way to make our stay a good one.
Breakfast had a decent variety each day — nothing spectacular, but solid options to fuel up before heading out. The location felt very safe, tucked back just off the freeway, making it easy to come and go without any worries. The main floor had a nice sitting area both inside and outside, perfect for relaxing, and the laundry facilities were a big plus for a longer stay. The gym and indoor pool were just okay — nothing special, but they got the job done.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient home base for our trip. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Excellent

Had a nice, large quiet room for two nights. The breakfast was excellent, especially the amazingly fresh-tasting eggs. The staff was extremely helpful and held onto an important bag I forgot to take home with me.
My only issues were intermittently sluggish Wi-Fi, and I wish the bar of bathroom soap wasn't partly hollow because it fell apart the second time I used it in the shower.

Large size 1 bedroom suite. Fully equipped kitchen. Great breakfast. Extremely helpful staff and service team. Perfect.

Stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Braintree.
A good and comfortable hotel overall. The room had a well-equipped kitchen, which was a big advantage, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel offers solid basic facilities, and it was nice to have coffee and water easily available. Breakfast was decent and worked well to start the day.
The area around the hotel is also a plus, with good opportunities for walking and running, making it easy to stay active.
The main downside is the distance to downtown Boston. Public transport takes time and requires some planning, as the bus runs only about once per hour. Expect a total travel time of over an hour when combining bus and subway.
Overall, a pleasant stay and good value, especially if you do not need quick access to central Boston.
