Great Value

Have to give a thumbs up - great value in a clean and quiet 'motel'. New carpets and paint, and everything clean. Air conditioning
No wi-fi (but typical for the area) and no working ice machine (but there is a market/gas station next door).
Some budget motels can be 'iffy' - this is nicer than most budget chains. Very close to Ocoee. Looks like it might be a 2-star, but it is basically a 3-star stay, but I'm throwing in an extra star for the price ($50).

You get what you pay for

Found this as it was close to where we wanted to be. Price was very cheap which should’ve been a tip. No one was there staying but all during the night had many visitors and made LOTS of noise from the room. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The rooms need to be updated and cleaned WAY BETTER! Very musty and stale and smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room
Spend a little more and stay somewhere else

Verbally Abusive

I couldn't even make it past the phone call. I'm traveling with my twin toddlers to visit family, and hoped to save a little money by booking a cheap motel. Gosh, did I learn my lesson!
I called to ask between the price differences of rooms with the same size bed (bringing our own pack&play). I didn't even get the words out of my mouth before he yelled at me about how many people I'm bringing (just me and my babies). I tried to ask about the reason behind the price difference, but he continued to yell at me. And then he hung up on me before I could even finish my question.
Ladies, book elsewhere. Over the phone, Applegate Inn was verbally abusive. Imagine how terribly they must treat women after they take your money. This experience was alarming. For your own peace of mind, find somewhere else to sleep! Baymont Inn on Paul Huff is a safe, clean motel that won't treat you poorly. I decided to book our trip there. It will be our 4th stay.

MaryGrace, we do apologize if we, in any way, did not meet or exceed your expectations. We will take your feedback in consideration. We had an emergency and to take the person who works at our place to ER. Due to that reason we had to leave someone at the front desk temporarily and that person doesn't speak English. Due to language barer you had to experience this situation. I apologize for this. Here at Applegate we treat everyone equal and nice regardless of gender or race. I hope you will reconsider your decision and give us one more chance.

Horrible

I think the pictures speak for themselves. Pictures were taken when we arrived. This is how we found the room. We left and did not stay the night (of course). I really hope that this helps someone not make the same mistake we did. I'm just surprised that this place is still in business. The bed looked slept in with dirty sheets, cigarette burns in sheets, and brown stained pillow. The bathroom door had a smear of BLOOD on it. That's right, blood! I'm an RN and I'm use to seeing a lot of blood at work, but not in a hotel! Finally, when we saw the large spider on the bathroom floor we just got out of there.

Dirty Rooms

My baby and I come here for a little getaway and I think its okay until I start to give her a bath one there was white stuff coming from the water and the bathtub plug didn't even work I had to use the shower to feel the tub and also the WiFi cuts off and my husband is a marine and we video chat so I was really upset.. Besides all that I go to sit in the chair and there a dental floss thing in it like really people poor poor cleanliness to the rooms I'm disappointed with my stay.
