Situated in Corbin and with Harland Sanders Cafe And Museum reachable within 2.9 km, TownePlace Suites by Marriott Corbin features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

Elevator didn’t work during my stay. Other than that, the rooms and hotel were great. Staff was excellent

Solid newer hotel with some awful decisions by management
We stayed for 5 days in May 2026, I usually give feedback under good and bad categories, but have to add a section for a couple of awful choices made in the design and operation of this hotel.
Awful choices:
- The shower in the room does not have a door or shower curtain. There is a glass wall that goes about 50% of the way from the wall with the shower head and the second half is just open, so no matter what you do, water gets on the floor, the bottom of the wall, etc…worse design in a bathroom I have seen
- They have a laundry room, but you have to download an app (not Marriott) and link it to PayPal, a credit card etc… to utilize them. You cannot use quarters like most hotels, you cannot use credit cards, just download another app that I’m sure everyone is excited to do. I went to the front desk to see if they had a card or account I could pay to use and was told they did not, the app is it. They said it is a recent change they did not like either, one of the dumbest things I’ve seen and working in the government for 40+ years I’ve seen some crazy stuff!
The good:
- Free parking
- The staff (front desk, housekeeping, ladies working breakfast) were all awesome
- Easy to get around Corbin and close to get to Cumberland Falls and still stay in town
- The breakfast, while still a buffet style, it is the best we have had on this trip and we have stayed in 6 different cities/hotels
- The temps got to 80+ and the AC worked great
- Full kitchen in the room with a home sized refrigerator
- We did not use them, but there are multiple grills and a large sitting and eating area on the back side of the hotel
The bad:
- No pool
- While only being open 6-months they had electric issues and one of the two elevators would not work multiple times a day
Overall, if you are looking to stay in south Corbin, it is probably the best option available. I would stay here in the future just for the staff alone.

Hotel smell like new. Great place, everything brand new. Comfortable bed, nice area to cook something quick and easy. Great breakfast selection.

AMAZING
Absolutely beautiful hotel! I visit the area often and it’s so nice to see a refreshing new clean place! Employees were fantastic. Everything was clean and everyone spoke English. Love it!!!
