Best Western Beacon Inn is located in Grand Haven. The property is around 2.9 km from Grand Haven City Beach, 29 km from Nelis' Dutch Village and 39 km from Michigan's Adventure.

We got a king suite with a jacuzzi tub in the old motel building and we were surprised at how clean and modern it was. Had a slider out to the courtyard. This place was so cute! Definitely recommend!

Well we were in room 503 in the back of the property. The room had a pretty bad musty smell to it and was sort of remodeled but not all of it. Overall was not worth the cost but was quiet and worked for one night. I’d look elsewhere or stay in the main building if coming to town

Now You Have To Ask To Get Your Room Cleaned
Room was clean, comfortable, accessible and convenient to things to do.
Now what I don’t understand is that I paid over $800 for 4 nights and apparently this hotel you have to “request “ to have your room cleaned, sheets changed, clean towels and I had to go get my toilet paper.
Now I have traveled all over the US and even stayed in some sketchy motels but I have Never had to ask to have the room cleaned….. I have had to say, do not clean but this is RIDICULOUS. This is a Hotel and a Service Industry Business.
Complimentary Breakfast was ok, 3 days in a row we had to say the food was empty and search for the attendant.
Front desk was not manned during breakfast and if it was the employee was sitting in the couch and on their phone. We thought they were customers.
No uniform to tell you they were an employee. Not sitting behind the desk
To offer assistance or monitor breakfast.
Just plain POOR customer service.
I get times have changed but for the price I paid I definitely expect better. There are many other hotels we could have chosen but we had stayed here in the past and it was great….. simple attentiveness to the morning clients and breakfast would have made a difference.
Also, request to have rooms cleaned includes emptying the over flowing trash cans…. Seriously….. and not even a .99 cent box of Kleenex. Very sad.

The hotel was great. The bad thing about it, was the air conditioner didn't work at all.
