Salt Hotel is quaint and well maintained. The bed is so comfortable. This was my best night's sleep on the 9 day vacation. The one thing I missed was there not being a hairdryer or shampoo/conditioner. We stayed on a Tuesday, and there is not much to do in this town. We walked just a short way down the road to a pub where we ate with plastic cutlery and from paper plates.

Nice combination of hotel and pub together right on the marina. Room and amenities were fine, but not outstanding. Pub (not open Tue-Wed) was excellent, staff, food, and drinks.

Cute little hotel just steps away from the marina. It has a small restaurant & bar onsite that the food and drinks were really tasty & good. Staff at both hotel and restaurant were both extremely nice & helpful. Only a couple negatives are to be said about the place.
1) There was no hot water later in the evening to take a shower. Had to wait take one until super early the next morning and then there was finally hot water.
2) The walls between the rooms are SUPER thin. You can hear a conversation being talked about in the next room pretty clearly. And with people talking and watching tv until really late into the night, it was hard to sleep solidly.
- Note to Ownership: This is an easy fix. Spray foam as sound damping insulation in the walls between the rooms.

We loved Salt for our home base while visiting the coast with our 2 dogs, especially having a good restaurant/pub right in the same building -- never had to leave or worry about the dogs!
