Nice stay

This was our second stay at this hotel, it was great! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The hotel shuttle is a great amenity for getting downtown and not having to look/pay for parking. The pool area is very nice with the cabanas. My husband loves the cookies!!

The pool is the highlight.

Good option for those who are driving. This is a DoubleTree that does not shine: follows the American standard. The highlight is the pool area, wide and comfortable. The most loyal customers of Hilton receive nothing more than expected, not even a smile in recognition of their loyalty.
The hotel already shows signs that it needs a renovation. However, putting in perspective the reality of hotelry in Key West, the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Grand Key is a good alternative within the proposed accommodation proposal.
I hope this report will help other travelers find their next hotel.

Very bad experience!

Very cold welcome , no smile from the staff.
Room 259 is allocated to us , it is very dark, it is located opposite the elevator and a large garbage can, near the ice maker and the ventilation system of the hotel with a breathtaking view of a zinc roof. But the MUST is that it is right above the hotel laundry room that runs the washing machines until late at night!
Impossible to sleep despite the balls that blew, bcp noise, our beds trembled with each spin! A shame!
In the night we ask twice for another room , but the hotel is full.
At 6:00 in the morning , we ask again for a room away from this din.
We must wait for Michelle's understanding and cooperation (with 2 L ) at the reception , to satisfy our request .
I thank her.
It is UNACCEPTABLE and SHAMEFUL to give room 259 to guests.
I will never go back to this hotel again. Contrary to another comment , the shuttle bus to the city is paid.
The $30 rate we are charged upon arrival includes the 2 reusable bottles, and the shuttle!
In conclusion, flee this hotel, and if no other choice, refuse room 259.

From pick up from the airport to return everything in between was great. Took full advantage of the shuttle service to downtown, the pool was luxurious, and pool bar / restaurant was 10/10. Staff was super friendly. Great experience & would stay here again.

Very convenient

With plans to go on the Seaplane Adventure, we chose this hotel since it was near the airport. Shuttle service was greatly appreciated, although we had to take a taxi for to the Seaplane office...and that was fine, not very expensive as it was a 5 minute ride! The hotel was comfortable, food was great and the pool refreshing.
