Off the beaten path

You have to want to get to Mountain View, Arkansas. I enjoy my trips there and I only stay at the Knotty Squirrel. Love the place and the management. I have been traveling to Mountain View for approximately 3 years for a project and I always know what to expect in terms of accommodations.

Loved this place! We had 8 people in our group and there was plenty of room. I was a bit skeptical about booking but was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and well kept. It was decorated very cute and trendy. We had a question and called the number and they answered us back very quickly. The only drawback was only 1 bathroom. It is close to the Ozark Folk center and within walking distance to Main Street. There were musicians playing in the square on Saturday night. The next day we drove about an hour to canoe the Buffalo National River. I would definitely recommend The Knotty Squirrel!

Great little place to stay!

It was a very nice and little spot. The cabins were very clean and new. The bathrooms were well accommodated. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the area. It’s also very close to the town square.

Cute cozy great location

Super cute place. We stayed in untit #3. Very good location near the town square. Very well though out ammenities. Why only 4 stars? The queen loft bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could not move without a loud squeak. My husband has a bad back and does a lot of tossing/turning so not much sleep for us. Unit was clean with the exception of a silverfish in the dishes (they probably hadn'tbeen usrd in a while). Clean beds, clean linens...I was pleased with the unit and only gave 4 stars because of the issies listed. We would have slept in another bed if we had not been staying with our elderly parents. So probably not a big deal if children were staying in the queen loft bed.

Wonderful!

This place is amaZing! Beautifully decorated. Convenient location. We’re already planning a week long getaway. Highly recommend quiet and peaceful. Nice country feel. Close to the square music and food
