Nice hotel north of Redding

Nice, clean hotel. The only drawback is that it's in an industrial warehouse area 2 exits north of town. The only area to eat close by is this place called Dill's Deli. It was recommended by the front desk person at the Fairfield. We walked across the street to Dill's and were greeted with we're out of everything. This was at 4pm and the close at 7pm. So, we found Pizza Factory a few miles away and it was great. Next day, on the way south, we noticed a lot of restaurants 2 exists south. Wish someone at Fairfield would have told us. Nice hotel, a bit remote but lots of dining if you drive or call for delivery. Avoid Dill's because besides being out of food the place is filthy. We saw an employee laid out on the floor when we walked in because she had slipped on a spill. A customer was assisting her, not an employee.

One of our best hotel stays ever.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the hotel was. Staff was wonderfully responsive when our coffee maker malfunctioned. The room was immaculately clean, bathroom was exceptional. Although the hotel is near Interstate 5, we heard no traffic noise. The location was handy to our destination. I feel the value was exceptional.

Great overnight stay. Thank you to Sophia..

We stayed overnight at this hotel and were greeted by a young woman named Sophia. She was very busy as it seemed she was the only person on duty, but she was very calm and attentive at our check in. Later in the evening, we tried our microwave, but it didn't work, we called the front desk and in about 10 minutes we had a knock on the door, it was Sophia with another microwave! She made sure it worked for us. We felt she was a great asset to the front desk as we saw her treat other people with the same attitude and respect.

Avoid!!

I was driving from southern California on a business trip for 9 hours to arrive at this hotel with no stops and when I arrived at 3am there was no one around. I mean complete ghost town , no employees to be found. I had to press a button to go inside otherwise the doors were locked. What kind of sketchy hotel is this?! All the other hotels in the area were booked! Avoid this place at all costs. Also reporting this place to corporate! What a clown show
