Quiet, clean property

Had a four night stay in this well-kept, quiet property. This one is a more modern design than the old school Embassy Suites with the giant atrium, and thank god for that--it's much more peaceful. Staff was friendly and accommodating and housekeeping on point. The location is convenient to Alexandria without being right in the middle of a bunch of stuff, so you don't have to worry about there being a bunch of foot traffic around the property. Breakfast is nothing special; I really don't understand the obsession some have with the omelette bar, but I concede it is better than watery powdered eggs. My only complaints are that I couldn't get the A/C as ice cold as I prefer, and that an Ethernet cable and connection was provided but didn't work (I know there's WiFi, but I always prefer plugging in a travel router with its built-in VPN for security).

A Small Act of Kindness I'll Never Forget

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton Springfield was so exceptional that it deserves recognition.
I was in Virginia attending a family wedding and returned to the hotel around 3:00 AM. After a long day, I was hungry, cold, and looking for a small snack before breakfast. While purchasing a few items at the front desk, I mentioned that I wished I could have some hot tea. Most services were understandably closed at that hour, but Mr. Moustapha at the front desk immediately noticed that I was cold and went out of his way to help.
What impressed me was not simply that he found a solution, but the genuine care with which he did it. Determined to assist, he found hot water and tea supplies so that I could warm up. His attentiveness, kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond transformed a simple interaction into a memorable act of hospitality.
Throughout our conversation, Moustapha was courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome and comfortable. In an industry where service matters, he exemplifies excellence. It is often the small acts of intentional kindness that leave the greatest impression, and his certainly did.
The breakfast the following morning was wonderful, but the outstanding customer service I received from Moustapha was the highlight of my stay. Embassy Suites is fortunate to have such an exceptional team member representing the Hilton brand.
Thank you, Moustapha, for your kindness and professionalism. As a proud Hilton Honors member who has stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, I can confidently say that your service was one to remember.

Beautiful property, excellent staff, and great location. The only issue was that it was warm in the room and it could never cool under 72 degrees. The temperature stayed between 72- 75 during the summer in the room. My husband was very uncomfortable because he cannot take the heat.

Great experience

Ms. Brandi, the manager at Embassy Suites Springfield, truly exemplifies what hospitality should be.
My wife and I are an active-duty military family in the middle of a PCS, which is one of the most stressful times we’ve experienced. Between moving across the country, waiting on our new home, and living out of suitcases, it can feel like you’re temporarily homeless. Throughout all of that, Ms. Brandi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of.
She was always friendly, genuinely bubbly, and willing to help with anything we needed. Her positive attitude never seemed forced—it was clear she truly cared about her guests and wanted to make their stay better.
Unfortunately, exceptional customer service seems to be becoming rarer in the hospitality industry, which makes Ms. Brandi stand out even more. She sets the standard for what hospitality should look like, and Embassy Suites is fortunate to have her leading the team.
Thank you, Ms. Brandi, for making a stressful transition a little easier. Your kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression on our family.

The breakfast was horrible. The were eggs and sausage was not done. The hot cereal didn't have any raisins brown sugar or any of the normal toppings available and the fresh fruit bo l seemed to always be empty.
