Nice hotel in Unawatun

Good location, 5 minutes from the beach. Cozy atmosphere, very clean and spacious rooms. Polite, friendly staff. They speak English. Despite its proximity to the street, the city's rooms hardly hear any noise. In the morning, the peacock woke us up singing. Delicious homemade food.

If it's to Unawatuna, it's to Heaven By O!

Vacationing in November 2025, with her husband. Met with juice and cool towels. The owner, and indeed the entire staff, very polite, unpleasant and sympathetic. Breakfasts are monotonous, but nutritious eggs of all variants (cooked, omelet, glaze), sausages, yogurt, toast, fruit (3-4 types were always), vegetables, jams, butter. Coffee's instant. The rooms have everything you need: air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle (tea, coffee, sugar, water), TV, fan above the bed. The location is mega-successful: on a tourist street, within walking distance of cafes, shops, but in an alley that gives peace and privacy. I recommend it!

Heaven by O is about comfort and hospitality

Chose this hotel not by chance, but by studying other reviews and locations of Unawatuna, so all our expectations were fully met 100% The hotel is located on a tourist street, but in an alley, so there is no noise, to the ocean 5-7min, ,on the way cafes, restaurants, shops, exchangers, to the main road on the coast is also close. The hotel owners are very hospitable and friendly people, welcome when checking in cold juices and wet cold towels, which from the road is very useful. Check in immediately, their assistant helps with the luggage delivery to the room. The room is clean, there is powerful air conditioning, fan, small fridge, safe, plumbing, kettle, fumigator, fruit plate and knife, Wi-Fi. Hotel entrance by electronic key, elevator. Bed, towels were changed periodically, every three days, sort of. They give beach towels every day. There is no interior area, but for us it was not necessary, although the view from the balcony we liked(see photo).This hotel is about coziness, comfort and security. Breakfasts are standard, we always had enough: eggs, cooked according to your order, sausages, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, jam toast, fresh cold juice, tea, coffee. Pancakes, waffles, cookies change by the day, give lunch boxes on field trips and before early departure. The hotel for those who want to relax after a stormy day and build up their strength for the next one, is concerned with safety and comfort. We loved it all. If we go back to Unawatuna, it's probably this hotel. Thank you to the hotel owners and team for our comfortable and easy vacation!

We stayed at this hotel in December 2025. This gorgeous hotel is located at very convenient place. Room is large and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and kind. The stuff is ready to help in any moment. Thank you very much! Hope to visit this place again!
