Excellent - lovely rooms, great value for money

We stayed here for around 10 nights in January.
The manager Ishara and his team were so kind to us - arranging a scooter, snorkelling, a tuktuk to the doctor when we needed it.
The rooms are modern, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is simple and good. Location is also great - away from the noisy main road but just a 5 min walk to the beach.
Best of all, iresort is excellent value for money.

Will never stay there again

Good and clean rooms but not polite staff at all, sometimes they are so rude. Plus it’s located near from the train way and you will wake up every morning at 5am and it’s very noisy from the street and parties around

I paid in advance for my staying there but when I arrived they told me that my room is busy, another person is already there and they can’t make for me check in. They didn’t offer any help in this situation, just told me sorry but your room is busy. When I asked them to help me at least with tuk tuk they answered me that they can not. Really horrible situation and bad experience.

Good value for money

This hotel is really good value for money. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms modern. The beach is a five minute walk away.
We had chosen a room with a fan, but without AC. That was a mistake, as I'm sensitive to heat at night.

Great place in Weligama!

We stayed 20 nights there and it was fantastically great!
The room was big, everything was new, clean and fresh. Good breakfasts (the same every day, but tasty anyway). Very close to the beach (5 minutes by foot).
The staff was so helpful and friendly!
The room was cleaned every 3 days and it was more than enough.
But the sounds... The hotel is close to the railway, and you will definitely hear the sound of trains in the morning :) But in Weligama you have to wake up early, so this alarm clock will help you.
