Very good but needs some care

We visited the hotel with spa and pool club on a cold day in July, the sun was shining though which made the pool club attractive. The common areas are in good condition and sometimes spectacular but the rooms and balconies are somewhat run down for a hotel of this calibre. There was no table on the balcony, only two chairs. The lamp was broken and the balcony railing not oiled or sanded, it grew both lichen and moss. Boring. There was no glass in the room, not a wine glass in sight. Just two plastic cups in the bathroom. The bed was good but no extra pillows. The temperature was comfortable but we do not know if it was because of AC or if the cold weather saved the night’s sleep. The dinner was good but never let the waiter choose wine, they choose their own Swedish wine that tastes like that. Rude and expensive it was. There were plenty of places in the SPA/Pool Club but most are outdoors so I think it can be crowded in winter. Come in the summer.

One day with daughter

Cozy hotel , had a view of the gbg, lucky they so you did not get a room into the hotel. The food in the restaurant in the evening vsr no big shot. However, breakfast was top! Good pancakes, bacon, among others. Very nice service staff all the time. But the hotel room toilet has no real door a thin frosted glass plate that you pull for. Then a frosted glass slice in against the wall against the bed so you light in the bathroom so the whole hotel room becomes bright. No cromcast possibility.

No AC

No AC in the rooms. It's fine in winter, but on a hot summer day you have 30 degrees in your room. I think you can expect better comfort for 4000 kr night.

Dissatisfied by reception staff and how to solve problems

Me and my friend were there on a Saturday to Sunday and it was fantastic day and sunny, we are really lucky. Until we checked in to the room and check if there is Ac or fridge in the room. We look everywhere and my friend was sure there will be a fridge because she has visited the hotel before. In the room there was a fan that sounds cursed loud as you might next think it was someone mowing lawn outside the room. Me and my friend went down to the reception and asked vrf was not the fridge and the fan sounds too loud and for such a weather the fan will disturb us during the night and not be able to fall asleep. The response we got from the reception staff is unexpected that she could not do anything about it like change to a new fan. The fridge, of course. It looked unprofessional to offer help, answer questions or try to solve problems. She doesn't even have to try to help. But her colleague who was standing next to us fetched us a new fan which calmed me down a bit but we were still unhappy that she did not even try to solve problems for us. We are really grateful for the help of him and really think he deserves praise.

Nice place with a view

We celebrated our mother's birthday at Sankt Jorgen. Nice bright rooms and also nice & fast staff. Good mixed menu where we tried both today's catch. The latter was excellent. Also good for - & desserts. Overall, a nice place that we are happy to return to.
