Will be back soon again

Really cozy campsite near the sea.
Quiet , nice and simple .
There were also cottages for rent at good prices.
The owner was very accommodating and nice when we got problems with our caravan.
Good with a cold beer at reception.
Dogs welcome.

Calm and nice

Stayed here one night, in a room. The room was big and clean. The location with water was very nice, could swim from the bridge and play badminton on the grass. Nice reception. Did not eat here. Otherwise the place is somewhat worn out and limited in terms of facilities/play for children.

Lousy

Bad camping. Very nice staff. First impressions of reception are that you come to someone's home with an extremely messy home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of junk (machinery and cars) standing everywhere.
The cabins are worn, the beds are like sleeping directly on the beams. You get an unfresh feeling. The cutlery wasn't clean.
Would not recommend this campsite. Will not visit them again.

We enjoyed it

Quiet beautiful place. Nice people hosting the camp. We were in an RV and spent one night, good price, very home cozy. The place is clean with all the basics you need. Shower included. Washingmachine availeble

great atmosphere

We went there over the last holiday in August 2013 during our Sweden - Norway trip. The facilities are very basic but enough. The showers near the reception area are paid, but the bathroom next to the one near the kitchen was free, so you could have a nice, hot shower without worrying about time running out. We've set up our tents near the lake and there were no one next to us. we had the whole place to ourselves. peace, quiet and no intruders. Family atmosphere, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. we wanted to have a bonfire and cook some sausages and found the wood all ready to take and use, which was very nice! At first we planned to stay for one night, but liked it so much we stayed two. The second day, we spent fishing and discovering the area. The Ljusne hill with its "ljusne / hollywood " sign is worth climbing. Once you reach the top, the views are lovely. The Ljusne town seems a bit empty. On a sunny and warm like that, there was no one to be seen at the park.
Overall, lovely but basic campsite. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Definitely will come back if ever again in Sweden.
