Quaint and cozy
Nice hotel in chalet style. We had a small room with lake view. Nice decor with wooden elements which gives a beautiful and rustic charm. In the restaurant you feel immediately comfortable and you enjoy a great service. The food is very delicious! For us the proximity to the train station was very important. For boarding or skiing you can reach the slopes (Hasliberg) by train and post bus in about 40min. Can highly recommend the Hotel/Restaurant Kaiserstuhl

Wie schön, dass euch der Chalet-Style mit den vielen Holzelementen und dem urchigen Charme gefallen hat – besonders mit Seesicht wirkt das Ganze nochmals ein bisschen magischer. Es freut uns sehr, dass ihr euch auch im Restaurant sofort wohlgefühlt habt und unseren Service sowie die Küche geniessen konntet. Genau diese Kombination aus Gemütlichkeit, ehrlicher Gastfreundschaft und feinem Essen macht unser Hotel & Restaurant am Lungernsee aus.
Die Nähe zum Bahnhof ist tatsächlich ein grosser Vorteil – ob Richtung Hasliberg zum Skifahren oder für andere Ausflüge in der Region. Toll, dass ihr das so unkompliziert nutzen konntet.
Danke für eure Empfehlung – das bedeutet uns viel. Vielleicht dürfen wir euch ja bald wieder bei uns im Hotel Kaiserstuhl begrüssen, ob für ein Winterwochenende oder eine sommerliche Auszeit am See.

Arrive and feel good
Due to the heavy snowfall and the consequently impossible onward journey we spontaneously spent two nights in this beautiful Alpine furnished hotel and felt more comfortable by the minute. The staff is of a very special warmth and the kitchen surprised us positively both in the evening and at breakfast. Especially the delicious desserts will be remembered! The rooms are cozy and the bathrooms modern and sparkling clean. We will definitely come back in the summer and then enjoy the view of the lake from the terrace, which unfortunately was denied us this time due to the weather. The location directly at the Kaiserstuhl railway station is also ideal, so that you can easily get to Interlaken and/or Lucerne even without a car.

Die Lage direkt an der Bahnstation Kaiserstuhl ist tatsächlich ideal, um auch ohne Auto bequem nach Interlaken oder Luzern zu reisen – umso schöner, dass ihr das so schätzt. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass ihr uns im Sommer nochmals besuchen möchtet, dann hoffentlich mit Sonnenschein und dem Blick von der Terrasse auf den Lungernsee.

Hotel to avoid....A real scam
Catastrophic!
To avoid....Unfriendly staff
Prices overrated.
Outside temperature of 3 degrees and no heating in the rooms.
Before the end of breakfast time, we open and lock the door so that the last guests leave so cold it is.
There is beautiful fireplace but rather than make a good fire, you put a lamp under logs to make a sensation of fire but especially not to have to make fire.
Shameful.

Nous regrettons particulièrement que la température dans la chambre et au restaurant n’ait pas été satisfaisante. À cette période de l’année, nous adaptons notre système de chauffage en fonction des conditions météorologiques, mais il peut arriver qu’il fasse momentanément plus frais lors d’un changement brusque de température – nous nous en excusons.
Concernant la cheminée, il s’agit d’un élément décoratif conçu pour créer une atmosphère chaleureuse et authentique, tout en respectant les normes de sécurité et d’énergie de notre établissement.
Nous prenons vos remarques très au sérieux et les avons déjà transmises à notre équipe afin d’améliorer l’accueil et le confort de nos hôtes.
Nous espérons que vous nous donnerez une seconde chance de vous faire découvrir le Kaiserstuhl dans de meilleures conditions – avec l’hospitalité et la convivialité qui font la réputation de notre maison.

Rude staff, especially who the person who placed a sticker in my car for parking on the “invisible “ yellow line but not obstructing anyone. Apparently its a common thing in this place

Great place to stay when visiting inner Switzerland and touring the alpine passes.
Wonderful little hôtel/restaurant in an incredible setting on Lungern lake. Excellent service, great staff, relaxed and cozy atmosphere, good food. We look forward to returning.
