Best place to stay in Zanzibar
We loved the place so much that we extended our stay to the very last day in Zanzibar. The room was stunning, equipped with everything you need, a beautiful outside shower, direct access to the beach and amazing food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The pool area is super cozy and stylish. The staff was very attentive, always here to help and very kind. My boyfriend had a blast during his kite surfing training!
And as an animal lover, I was amazed to see monkeys during breakfast services and cuddling with Luna, the hotel cat.
Also a special thanks to Lilly.

Holiday in paradise!
Great atmosphere. Very nice location. The staff is very friendly, the beach perfect and everything is relaxed. The accommodations beautiful. Immediately again!!!

Terrible
We booked this hotel for a couple of nights, mistake. Yes, the hotel has a very beachy atmosphere, but the price is way above the quality. The room door is extremely insecure; it doesn't close properly and makes unbearable noises when opening because it's a sliding door. The room is super dark, the sheets weren't very clean, and there was a musty smell. Taking a shower was a nightmare. The water was scalding hot, and if you wanted cold water, there were only a couple of drops—impossible to shower with. On top of that, the power and water went out at the same time. The restaurant staff in the morning had no interest in serving the guests and weren't friendly at all. We had to leave early because we preferred to finish our vacation in a more comfortable place, so we returned to the Aluna Hotel in Paje, which is a thousand times better.

Loud Techno Music till 6.30am shaking the room
Lovely position and great staff.
Booked a sea view room, which just happed to be adjacent to the bar area.
Techno music played at full volume till 6.30am shaking the room and vibrating the windows.
So if you wanted the early morning excursions touring zanzibar chilling in the evening by the sea, find another hotel you won’t get any sleep.
Mainly no hotel residence when sun rises leave and the music stops just as breakfast is being prepared.

Every time again
Great, loving accommodation. The whole staff was incredibly friendly, the airport pick-up service worked flawlessly and we were allowed into our room at 10am on the day of arrival. The food was really one of the best of the entire beach section, the burgers and especially the included breakfast were fantastic! In the evenings you could hear loud music from neighbouring accommodation more often, but that is simply because it is a busy place where there is always something going on in the evening during the season. During our stay the season was almost over and it was rather quiet in the evening, the music was still playing. If you are looking for a place to relax in bed in the evening, you might want to choose a different place on Zanzibar and not a kite hotspot. The rooms were simple but loving and clean. Occasionally there was a power outage and twice the water was gone for a short time, but this seemed to be more of a problem for the entire island and was never long-lasting.
We must also give huge praise for the fact that, as on the day of departure, we were allowed to stay in our room until night, as this was not directly occupied and our flight left at night. This is absolutely not a given.
