Overlooking the entire port of Kyloon

Mid-Autumn 4th of October 2025, with a holiday on the north, the first night at the Grand Crowne Hotel, before staying a few times, although it is the old hotel in Kyloon, but the ocean view room here, the scenery is not to say, you can overlook the entire Kyloon Harbour, luckily you can see the sunset and dawn, and the cruise has become a tourist option for Taiwanese, so you can often see the cruise in and out of the port. The night view here is also great. It's only a 7-minute walk from the night market in Kilo, and you'd like to eat Kilo night market food to spare the trouble of parking. It is about a 5-minute walk from Ocean Square, which is convenient whether it is a night trip or watching the eagle shoot the eagle during the day. Although the reception hall is not large, the rooms are not small, clean and comfortable, and the service staff are kindly worth staying.

Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Keelung – Harbour Views and Old-School Elegance

The Evergreen Laurel Hotel in Keelung turned out to be the perfect base for exploring the city. It’s right on the waterfront, so the views are incredible — especially at night when the harbour lights up and the ships glide in and out. We loved waking up to the sight of the water and the sound of the port coming to life.
Inside, the hotel feels classic and comfortable — a little old-fashioned in style, but spotless and well cared for. Our room was spacious with big windows looking up to Zhongzheng Park Temple, and the beds were really comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. We had a huge room with 2 double beds and a sofa.
The kids loved the play room at the hotel - we spent a lot of time here letting the kids enjoy the toys. They were also fascinated with the games room and really enjoyed the swimming pool.
The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from the night market, Keelung Tower, and the Magpie Bridge. For us, we had picked the hotel so it would be easy to board our cruise ship at Keelung Port.
If you’re visiting Keelung, Evergreen Laurel is a solid choice for families or couples who want comfort, views, and easy access to everything the city has to offer.

Room is very clean and bed is comfortable to sleep in. We have a harbour view which is a bonus.

Can't find any fault with the property! Love the buffet breakfast. Right next to the harbour too. So convenient for cruise passengers. But a tip for disembarking passengers: early check in is not so easy as the hotel also caters to embarking passengers so it's best to book an extra night.night before or u will need to hang around

Pretty decent room but the one thing that stood out for me was how kind and helpful the staff were. I love this place.
