Peaceful location
Lovely private Villa stay with a private pool. The pool was definitely the highlight, we visited in the colder, wetter month (November) so it was very cold in the pool but we had to use it.
The whole Villa was nice & clean, upstairs in the 2nd bedroom it was quite small but as it was just the 2 of us we didn’t really use it anyway. The terrace at the top where the sun loungers are just needs sprucing up with some paint, but as it was the winter /rainy months we were not bothered about this as it’s just been weathered.
Staff were nice & friendly. I wanted to have a floating breakfast but because of the weather they rang in the morning to check if I still wanted it. They also helped us look at some excursions too.
The location is good if you want to be kept away from party central areas which we did, but still close enough to everything we had planned to do. If you’re fit & healthy like us it’s nice to walk to the restaurants/beach etc to see the surroundings, however it is hilly & not just round the corner. I think a lot of people hire scooters/cars when staying here.
We weren’t really a fan of the breakfast, it was the same everyday & not loads of variety and a bit flavourless, for this reason & compared to our other stays in Thailand I have given 4 stars.
I would recommend this villa to families with small children or people who are going to spend more time at the villa than out & about.

Lovely villa in Krabi
Clean, comfy beds, supermarket and convenience stores nearby. Breakfast is good - Asian choices best! Location is not close to beach or bars, but there is a free shuttle at set times to and from main beach and restaurants, bars etc. You can also pay the villa shuttle to go to other places at different times. The upstairs second bedroom and ensuite is very small and not suitable for teens to share ( bunk villa was booked out). No roll away beds available. But our kids ended up taking the king bedroom downstairs with separate doonas/ duvets and a pillow wall!!!! The pool can be stepped straight into from the bedroom, lounge or entry courtyard. It’s refreshing but not cold and clean. A great find for a good price!

Nice hotel with personal pool best for families but problem is with vegetarians no good breakfast no variety in food otherwise b
Good hotel near to market good in cleanliness good in every thing but breakfast was not good specially for vegetarian nice staff nice location best for families every thing was fine except breakfast

A place to visit again
The villa has two rooms and private pool with a roof the breakfast is nice and the service is very good our experience was nice and ot feels like home

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay here at Poonsiri, it’s a beautiful villa with a small but lovely private pool. The entrance to the villa had a steep slope that I think could be tricky in the wet. The outside space off of the upstairs bedroom is lovely, but it’s set up with 2 sun beds and the villa sleeps 4. The kitchenette area although was very clean had very few utensils. I didn’t even have a knife to spread butter on my bread. Other than this it is a worth while stay.
