Woderfull Place

I stay so many hotel in Chiang Mai but this hotel it's the best. K.Aorm nice and friendly staff the location so good and cleanliness.
The garden so beautiful. The owner K.Ribbin very helpfull.
We will come back .

The hotel from hell

This stay was a complete nightmare. When I walked into the room I set my luggage down and went to use the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door and the trash was full with bloody toilet paper on top and urine in the toilet. I told the manager and he had one of the employees clean it. The next day on November 19th, I left my hotel room to walk around Chiang Mai and eat lunch. I came back to the hotel at around mid-afternoon and pack some of my luggage. My plan leave hotel again to see some of the temples near the hotel and enjoy my last full day in Chiang Mai. As I was getting ready to leave, I noticed the hotel hair dryer on top of my laptop which wasn't there when I left that same morning. I took the hair dryer off my laptop and saw a crack on the top of my laptop. I ran downstairs to find someone and none of the girls working there spoke English. I said very clearly "I have an emergency. I need help". They just looked at each other and started giggling. I went up to the room and called my significant other because I was having an anxiety attack. One of the girls called the manager and he arrived around 10 minutes later. I told him what happened and showed him my laptop he just looked at me and I started crying I told him to get the owner there. After about 20 minutes the owner arrived asking me what happened. I showed her the damage. She asked one of the cleaners what happened and they were speaking in Thai so I couldn't confirm what they were saying. The owner said the employee denied doing anything. The owner drove to some computer stores and she spoke with the employees on Thai and they did not fix the laptop. They said I have to do it in my own country. I documented the incident with my phone and the owner said that she would compensate me to have the laptop repaired when I get back home to the US. I had a feeling she was just saying that to get rid of me. I asked for her email and she gave it to me. Once I got to the hotel she hurried out in a rush. She changed my room and now I was on the 4th floor which actually made it more difficult for accessibility with my luggage. I packed my things and tried to get comfortable. I emailed the owner to confirm it was her email and did not receive a response. At around 9 p.m. the manager knocked on my door and asked if he could help with the pain I had in my upper back from the luggage I was carrying. I was apprehensive and had a bad feeling. I told him I was very tired and had to get up early in the morning to go to the airport. He said that he is a healer and does Thai massage. He said he saw that I upset and wanted to help. I reluctantly said ok and met him downstairs on the porch by the entrance to the hotel. He used a type of ointment on my neck for the pain. It was just like going to a regular Thai massage place. But then it got weird when I smelled beer on his breath. I was very tense because I was uncomfortable and he told me to relax. He proceeded to massage under my shirt and lower back and said a full body massage in my room would be better. I immediately yawned and said “I’m very tired, I’m ready to go to sleep now.” I bolted to my room, double-locked the door, put both of my large suitcases and two backpacks in front of the door. This was the hotel stay from hell. While at the airport, I sent another email to the hotel owner and never heard back. Not only was my laptop damaged by their careless employees, I was sexually harassed by the manager. If it had gone any further, something horrible could have happened to me.

Great find

This hotel was superb Very good location in old town and next to many restaurant and massages Gardens outside were lovely Manager couldn’t do enough for you and was there first thing in morning till night Owners put on food and drink on new year s eve all free

Quaint Guest House in Chiang Mai

We had a great 2 day stay here! RFH is located in the old town of Chiang Mai near all of the temples which we wanted to visit. Upon arrival you are greeted by the charming Mai, a kind manager who checks you in and then you select slipper shoes to wear during your stay at this immaculately clean guest house. Our stay was on the top 4th floor, there is no lift but we did not have any issues, we actually were happy as we had a great peek a boo view of the Wat Chendi. The room provides a comfortable bed, A/C, tv, basic amenities and even a hair dryer which I was glad to use. The closet is non existent so for a long stay you might miss that, but hangers are provided and I could hang a few days worth of clothes.
This property is near a very nice Massage/Spa we visited, as well as many great lil coffee shops and restaurants. It is a short 7min tuk tuk ride to the more busy touristy shopping area of Chiang Mai. I liked being apart from the hectic-ness but easy to get to when you wanted. This is a great hotel for couples due to a more quiet location.
