Value for money. Good hotel for Group Function
Charoen Thani is one of the largest hotel in Khonkaen City. Despite being relatively aging hotel, the hotel is still a good First Class hotel in the City. They have large room (as I got Junior Suite for my room). The room is well appointed with all amenitiy required for a good stay. The breakfast is good. The function room is good and clean. They also booked the swimming pool next to the meeting room for our dinner function. So, the hotel answer to all of our requirement.
There are a few downside for this hotel. But it can be easily overlooked. First is the ceiling is relatively low. It is very common for older hotel iin Thailand. As the hotel was built around 90s, so the ceiling is not very high (it was the standard back in 90s). I am 5'10 and I still feel the lower ceiling in the corridor and bed room. But most of my colleagues are okay with it. So, I think it is a very minor thing for this stay. Another issue is the old elevators. But don't get me wrong, they are very well maintain and working perfectly well. It just feel a bit cramp for the older elevators. But that is also acceptable. Apart from that this hotel is an excellent hotel with exceptionally good price.

Cleaned daily, towels changed, sheets changed and all bathroom items replenished daily. Staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast selection very good and worth every penny. If in Khon Kaen again will definitely stay here
