Good place to stay - Very good location

The hostel is very well maintained ans strategically located near the Bangla street where there are a lot of nigh clubs and bars. I booked on agoda and I got a good deal for 5 night stay there as I was on a dive vacation. I opted for dormitory with 4 beds.
Pros - Good lobby, clean sheets and beds, Toast for breakfast, free coffee and tea.
Cons - Dodgy internet, towels(even bath towels) to be rented for 50 bhat.

Average 4 night stay

The hostel is okay. The beds are comfortable enough. I had holes in my sheets and pillow case from being used so much. The bathroom is very very hot and so is the common room. My partner and I felt as though we couldn't use the common room because every time we were in there the staff were sleeping on the couches/ laying on the pillows/ playing games on their phones and we didn't feel welcome. I ended up getting very sick while staying here and it wasn't the most comfortable place to be sick because of how the shared bathroom feels like a sauna. Everything in the bathroom is mouldy. The cleaning is very slack by the staff there is constantly sand over the floor, the toilet rolls don't get replaced, there is a massive pile of sheets and towels used by guests thrown on the floor in the hall way. The hostel doesn't look nearly as clean as it did on booking.com. The male staff who smoke outside make the common room smell of smoke. The only staff member who was helpful was the young girl at the front desk who seemed to be doing everything on her own.

Average 4 night stay

We arrived quite late at night, the girl at the front counter had earphones in listening to music but was very friendly once she saw us walk in. There seemed to always be someone (owner or workers) sitting around in the common area which made the area feel very unusable. You are required to leave your shoes at the front door which is fine but the floors were still very dirty - always found myself brushing sand out of my bed from the floor. The rooms and bunks themselves where neat and well contained. My partner was sick and we were able to use a different room that was empty so we wouldn’t disturb other guests.
It was fine for a 4 night stay. Place was relatively clean, staff were helpful if you needed them but didnt seem happy to help except for young girl working at night. Good location which is close to everything.

Good location.

Stayed in the mixed dorm for 1 night. Facilities and bed provided is very good. However the water supply in the bathroom was close to none when I wanted to shower in the morning. Location is very strategic (1 minute walk from Patong beach and Bangla Road)

Nothing special, I mean beds were ok, bathrooms too.
Staff was ok, but a bit unprepared, I asked many times information about their tours and they almost didnt know anything.
Common room was always empty, maybe also because there is nothing to do, no games, no instruments... so overral an anonymous hostel.
